Hey guys

I feel like I haven't really been posting at all. I was out of town for training last week with work and I've been really busy trying to figure out my house situation.

We thought we had renters and then they just decided to not go through with it, so we're back to square one. Dealing with people over Craigslist has been a nightmare. People keep making plans to see the house or tell me they are going to apply and we just don't hear anything and they don't show up to see the house. Apparently, common courtesy is dead.

Vent over. Hope everyone is doing well!

Re: Hey guys

  • What a pain!

Have you thought about using an agent? I know when we were renting, we used First Coast Rental Finders and they were the rental agent for a private owner from whom we eventually leased the property. I'm sure they charge some sort of fee, but it might be worth looking into what the fee is -- it might be worth it to not have the hassle of handling it yourselves.

  • Sorry you're still dealing with trouble on the rental!

I also used when I was looking to rent twice and really liked them. But, again, not sure about their fees.
