I have two weddings to go to in the next several months, and since one is here and on in Detroit, I figured I can surely get away with wearing the same dress to both.
So I bought this dress on sale at JCPenney and I'm in luv with it.

The picture is a little dark, but it's off white on top, charcoal grey in the middle, and black on bottom with a symmetrical seaming in the middle that is really slimming and awesome. And has a fairly high neck and little cap sleeves. Super chic and grown up and I can't believe I have a dress like this.
What do you think about accessories? I'm pretty sure a necklace is out because of how high the neck is, but what else would you put with it? And I'm not against a pop of color, but where would you put it and what color would you use? And any excuse for me to go to Charming Charlie's in Nashville is great, so don't be afraid to make me be adventurous!
Thanks ladies. Oh, and PIPs or links are always appreciated.
Re: AW and Help Me
I am terrible at accessorizing, but I just wanted to say that I LOVE that dress!
I would probably pair it with some larger earrings and a substantial bracelet. I'd probably play it safe and stick with silver, but I think some colour could look awesome too.
The dress is amazing! I love it
I think you may be able to weat a necklace if it is a chunky one... you know like this:
I may not be the best person to ask though. The only accessories I wear are my wedding rings and diamond studs.
Very cute dress!!!
I would go with red accessories. I think it could add a nice pop to it. Plus I love any excuse to wear red shoes!
Couldnt' have said it better! I love adding a pop of red with black/white/greys. Generally a pair of red shoes or a cute red purse for me
MY BLOG
I think I'd keep it simple and go with black pumps and dark jewelry.

I've been very interested in trying out some cranberry color with it, maybe.
Where can you go online to browse jewelry by color? Do you think silver or gold with it (because I'm assuming the jewelry will have a silver or gold setting/chain/clasp/whatever with it).
And the first wedding is Oct. 1 and the other is mid-April. They're both between Labor Day and Easter (well, maybe a week after Easter), so I shouldn't need to change anything, right? I'm putting all my trust in you guys.
I guess the biggest question I really have is gold or silver tones with it. I feel like the silver might be too hard with an off white color, but I could just be making that up!
"Hey, Liz. Why don't you just get up off the couch and go hold up some of the jewelry you already have to the dress?!"
"Because getting my internet friends to help is much more fun, that's why."
Ok, first I'll admit I didn't read all of the other posts, so I apologize if you've already gotten this advice many times...
I love, love, love big earrings when I don't wear necklaces. I did this for a wedding last spring because I couldn't do a necklace with the dress I wore. And I noticed you asked about gold or silver, I would do silver tones or black stuff with that dress. But I am more of a silver person anyway.
I just wanted to say that I just discovered this store when I was in CT last week. AMAZING! I was IN.LOVE. with it. I had never heard of it before and seriously never wanted to leave. Unfortunately, it was late in our shopping trip and Kyle had just about had it with shopping.
And I love the dress!!
Charming Charlies is FAB.U.LOUS. I'm so excited to go there and actually have something to look for, because otherwise I'm way too overwhelmed to even buy anything.
