I used to pump three times a day (twice during work, once before bed at night) to keep up with Nora's intake at daycare. Two weeks ago, I dropped the bedtime session. Last week, I dropped one of the sessions at work. I planned to continue with the other session for at least a few more days, but I've been busy at work today and I sort of made the willy-nilly decision to just stop.
My boobs kinda-sorta feel like they're going to explode.
The other two were really easy to give up on, but this one seems like it might cause a bit more discomfort. Ouch.
Re: BR: I didn't pump today.
This is what I'm not looking forward to when I stop pumping. Maybe that's part of the reason I've continued as long as I have....
Hope the discomfort doesn't last too long!
yea! maybe pump for 5 min or so in the morning to help relieve pressure?
Does she nurse in the am off both sides? I kept pumping till I knew she would nurse well on both so I would not have to deal with pain. I did it so gradually.
Good Job!!
