QOTD: What's your favorite thing to do on a long weekend?

Morning everyone. I'm about to head in to work and hour and a half early, mainly because someone on another team we work with dropped the ball on Friday in a big way. Now we all need to come in early today.
QOTD: Well, this weekend we went on a little mini-break with friends to Whitstable where we mainly ate a lot of seafood, they drank a lot of wine and we generally just relaxed. It was great. For three day weekends, I love little relaxing mini-breaks, that give me enough time at the tail end to get caught up for the week ahead.
Morning! I'm at home in my PJ's, enjoying the first day of our Eid holiday! :-D No plans for today! I think I'll just run some errands (and can finally pick up a coffee while I'm out, since they'll be open!!) and maybe some baking, then Zumba later this evening.
QOTD: I really love to just stay in and enjoy some down time when we have a long weekend. I feel like there is never enough of that!

My Doha Adventures
Morning! DH got home late last night, he had been hiking with FIL since Wednesday.
Work and dinner out with FIL; he leaves on Thursday.

Morning, I'm up early for once. I have some errands to run and I'm finally going to catch up on cleaning since getting back a week ago. I just got an email from my cousin that she is three months pregnant and I want to shop for baby stuff so bad!
QOTD: Traveling, I love going to the Peak or Lake districts for a quick weekend away. This weekend we stayed in town and caught up with some friends, also a lot of fun!
Morning! I have a lot of trip planning to do today.
QOTD: I love finding a new place and going to walk around. Yesterday we drove 45 minutes to Fountains Abbey and had a great day.
Morning! I'm off to a birthday brunch for a friend of mine around 9:30. It's at 11, but I have to make a stop on the way and it's far from my side of town. In other news I found a project for myself yesterday at Carrefour! I bought some very small canvases and I'm going to make the baby's name (one letter per canvas) and hang it in the nursery. I wasn't originally planning on putting the name up, and definitely not painted directly on the wall, but I can hang these with tacks so it won't be too big a deal. I'm excited!
QOTD: DH and I love getting out of the city and going to the ILs house in Segovia. We love just getting out, unplugging from the world (no internet in the house there), and relaxing. It's a great escape!
Morning. Just sewing, sewing and more sewing. must finish DD?s christening gown...nothing like leaving it to the last minute.
QOTD: a little mini break...ah the days of being able to pick up and do that.
I'm working from home today because my awful sinus infection has returned with a vengeance. Feeling pretty awful so I may take a nap soon, and lay low for the rest of the day.
QOTD: I love to wander around a city or get out to the country and go for a walk or a hike. Explore a new place.

I'm having a much better day than yesterday, so that's a good start. We'll see how the rest of the day goes!

Construction is finally finished in M's room. I spent all day yesterday cleaning up after the workers and I'm not impressed. They didn't bother to cover anything, so all of his stuff was covered in dust!
Lucky me: they come back again to fix our bathroom and kitchen soon! Urgh.
QOTD: If we can't get away for the weekend then we like to go for a drive to the back country and have lunch in a small village or go to the mountains for a picnic.
Morning! We got back yesterday from a trip to Dover, Canterbury, Sandwich, Broadstairs, Deal and Rye. I have quite a bit to clean up around the house and laundry to do. Sigh. Its hard to go from vacation back into "real" life!
QOTD: I love getting out of the house! So... sightseeing, going on walks, enjoying nature, etc. I also really like cleaning (just a bit!) so that the house is fairly clean, come Monday morning.
Good morning! I am feeling terribly nauseated today. It's all I can think about so it's all I'm going to talk about... sorry. :-) Sadly, I have about a thousand things to do at work so I can just curl up in a ball and whine.
QODT: I don't have long weekends, we can take our holiday time whenever we like so I just store it up for proper trips. My favourite on the weekends though is when I can very leisurely approach the day - sleep in a bit and have a really slow cup of coffee with a book.

Good morning! I am babysitting this afternoon and running after.
QOTD: If it is warm, DH and I like to go to his parent's country house in France. We also like to go on biking trips or hiking. If we have the extra money, we plan trips to places in Europe.
Good evening! DS went down to a fountain and all of the kids play in it in the summer. I love it, because it is so close and it is free entertainment for him. Everyone loves to watch the little foreigner kid and take photos of him. I seriously wonder how he will be when we go back to the UK and no one takes any notice.
QOTD: I love good family time. So, either exploring a new place or going somewhere where DS has loads of fun like a kids cafe. Where we sit and have a coffee and he just plays on all the equipment.
Good morning. Fun (not) day here. I had a few meetings early AM, then worked out, and went grocery shopping, now am getting ready for my round of evening meetings.
QOTD: I like to go somewhere, preferably somewhere new and hopefully somewhere that involves physical activity.
