F/U: Epic Headboard
I mentioned my ridiculous Cambodian headboard in a post last week and promised to post a photo over the weekend, but was internetless... so with out further ado, here it is. My epic headboard.
In case you were wondering, yes that is a dragon on the right and a peacock on the left with a yin yang surrounded by fire in the middle. Oh, and heart-shaped mirrors.

That headboard just screams "Marital Bliss; Make Babies!" in east Asian iconography.
I hope you're respecting its wishes and that it's seeing lots of action. Bow-chicka-bow-ow! Though I have to say the heart-shape of the mirrors negates the sexiness of having a mirrored headboard.

Ha, unfortunately there's no bow-chicka bow-wow with H being back in the US, and yes, the heart-shaped mirrors really kill the badass-sexiness that a peacock and dragon would normally bring to the table.
I will miss it though. Maybe I'll try to find something similar on craigslist when we get to LA.
Now jumping domestically.

I suggest getting a huge roll of paper and doing a pencil or charcol rubbing of the wood. If you can't find a replacement in the US, have it custom made from the rubbing!
