but here are more pictures from a friends album on FB. these are literally all taken where i grew up. fortunately, it is mostly back to normal, lots of cleaning up and rebuilding to do, but great weather and waters have gone back to "normal."
sorry, not clicky, and sorry if this doesn't work (if it does't, please tell me!)

Re: Not sure if this will work...
That's horrible. The picture she has listed as Killington Base Lodge, thats the ski resort right? They're one of our customers for work. I feel like a complete insensitive ass for emailing the guy there now.

nicole, yes, that is the ski resort right near us where we ski in the winter.
mostly i think for the majority of vermonters, things are going back to normal. TONS of work to be done, roads to be repaired, businesses to be rebuilt. And of course there are families all over the state who lost everything, but I do think the majority of people are ok.
our biggest problem is that our post office was under water so I need to contact all of our companies who had sent us bills and tell them to resend them once our post office opens up again. and my people magazine is damaged with the kardashian wedding:( (that is a jk, the last part)

The email I sent to our contact at Killington came back as undeliverable so I feel a bit less like an ass. Hopefully he'll never see it. The lockers that are in the lodges, thats what my company does. We're supposed to go up and give them new ones at the beginning of October.
I hope everything goes back to normal as soon as possible for everyone up there. I really just can't imagine that amount of destruction.
