How is everyone today?
Derek, bless his heart, brought home roses and Champanade (aka, sparkling grape juice) for me last night. We went out to dinner and then just hung out all night. Quite nice.
Tonight he's off to work on a side job with Tim and staying at their place (jealous, he gets to play with the girls) so I won't see him again until late tomorrow night.
Today our company's CEO is touring some of our plants here and may be stopping in the building for a tour, so I've got to, like, clean my desk. Ugh.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Morning, all. Sushi, it's also Monday for me. Our long weekend was in FL, though, and not the most pleasant. But at least we got to avoid Irene and go swimming a few times!
Now I'm back at work, trying to catch up on emails and what's been happening while I was away. Also battling a headache and lack of sleep; I woke up at 12:30 and kind of dozed between then and 5:30, when I got really sleepy. Argh. Here's to surviving the day. I might need an iced chai soon.

I scheduled the first u/s for Friday morning. I know in my head I should have waited until next week, but after last time I am just too nervous. I'm sure the doctor will have me come back next week anyway, so I just went ahead even though it will probably be too early to see anything.
I woke up this morning with a gigantic bruise on the back of my left calf and I have no earthly idea how I got it. You'd think that I'd remember whacking that hard, but I'm clueless.
Today is a normal work day, although I am sure my boss is going to make me BSC today. Anytime that he gets here before 9:30 bodes for a bad day, especially when he's going to be out Thursday and Friday. Give me strength.
ETA: He's been in here three times in the last ten minutes to ask me about a) an email he just sent me, b) Outlook Calendar and c) LinkedIn. This is a man who has no business having technology.

Nothing to exciting going on here. I'm back to school so I have a day full of classes. On the bright side this is my last semester of my undergrad so I'm definitely looking forward to December.

Nothing exciting today. The lady that preston stays with took today off since her twin girl grandbabies are being born today. I am so excited for her and can't wait to see pictures when I take preston tomorrow. Preston is with Eli today.....that should make for a really intresting day. He has never kept preston for this length of time alone so it should be funny. I came to work early today just in case I have to leave early to relieve him.
I put a roast in the crock pot this morning so I am excited about not having to cook tonight and it being done when I get home. I am planning to take advantage of it and read my book after the kids go to bed.

Not much going on here - work will be on the easy side this week, so I'm enjoying a little break before we get busy again. We're trying to plan what backyard/home projects we want to accomplish this weekend, along with (maybe) a visit to DH's kids.

Our contractor is very close to being finished on the master bathroom, and I can't wait. B and I are headed out to dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary, and I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Good morning! Not much going on here. Just drafting some construction documents and helping another designer friend look over some preliminary house plans. I really love working with her. We went to college together and always play off each other well.

Today we are getting ready to leave on Vacation tomorrow. Just getting laundry done and packing and taking Rocco to visit with the IL's while we are away. Really looking forward to the vacation, it should be really nice.
Hey! I'm in Ottawa - I just finished cleaning out all of my boxes (6 cardboard ones and one gigantic steamer trunk) of childhood/adolescent/university stuff. I've condensed everything down a ton. Everything is back in the steamer trunk in nice, neat little boxes. It was fun to go through all the old photos and stuff.
Last night, I got to go out for dinner with some friends who live here at a great new restaurant. It was basically asian inspired tapas and sharing plates. Really tasty and a great way to spend a few hours.
My whomp-whomp moment of the evening was my little brother telling me (begging more like it) not to have kids soon because he doesn't want to be an uncle. His 29th birthday is coming up next week and I think he's feeling the age! =P

Today was a pretty typical work day at the small hospital. Sometimes I just get so lonely out there. Now I'm tired and I might nap.
Afternoon! I was back to school today...training all morning, then time to work in our rooms this afternoon. Then I went to get my hair trimmed before going home. I went for a (terrible) short run when I got home. Nothing much planned for tonight...grilling chicken for dinner and watching Rizzoli and Isles on DVR...

Good afternoon!
I've been out of town all day for a meeting. Now I'm back at work trying to play catch-up for everything that I missed. Last night we went to dinner and a movie to celebrate our anniversary. It was really nice to have a full date night. Generally we either do dinner or a movie.
Tonight I'm hoping to read. I'm so close to the end of the book that I'm reading that I can barely stand it. I'll probably try to get in a workout before I dive back into the book though; otherwise it will never happen.
