Back from Tenerife (now with some pics)
Ok, I was actually back on Saturday night, but my lazy butt is just posting now. We had an amazing time. The weather was intensely hot and gorgeous. We just spent our days out by the pool, eating and drinking plenty of pina coladas.
On our last night we went out to a party area of town, and at one of the bars we went to, we got 6 shots and a litre of a cocktail each for 6 euro. Each. It was fantastic. Needless to say we were highly intoxicated and after dancing for hours we finally stumbled home at 5:30am.
Funny story, the hotel did not have any rooms with double beds. At all. We got into out room and there were 2 single beds separated by a nightstand. We about died laughing. It looked like a monastery. Every night we would move them together and every day the cleaners would separate them again.

Oh my, that's funny about the beds! I can't believe the cleaners would go through the hassle of putting them back together! I'm sure you guys managed to enjoy yourselves anyways

Sounds like you had so much fun! The Canary Islands are great in general.
As for the beds I have found that to be the norm in hotels in Spain. I love the rare occasion we find a hotel room with a big bed. I am kind of surprised they pushed them back apart every day though. That's pretty funny!
