Ten Things Tuesday
1. I woke up this morning and thought it was Monday.
2. I'm currently watching a re-run of 19 Kids and Counting that's been on my DVR for about 6 months.
3. "Inside baby" has been moving like crazy lately and as much as I like feeling her move, her strong movements are getting borderline annoying.
4. Does #3 make me a bad mom? 
5. DH didn't take the trash out last night when he got home and now the truck has already come and gone. 
6. I'm taking Emma to get a slushie today because she got 10 stickers on her "potty chart".
7. I fully intend on getting a slushie for myself as well. 
8. There was a cricket that jumped out at me from my laundry tub yesterday, so I retaliated by drowning/washing him down the drain. 
9. Emma lost one of our remote controls and it's been irritating me for the last few days because it doesn't seem to be anywhere.
10. I HATE when things go missing and I feel like I tear the house apart looking for them and they still don't turn up.
Re: Ten Things Tuesday
1. I'm sitting in my officer shivering right now. I don't know why they keep it so cold around here.
2. My coworker isn't here today so I have all the lights on. Everyone that comes in keeps asking me what's different in here because her side of the office is always so dark!
3. My face is seriously broke out right now and it's driving me crazy.
4. Every time Ritzy talks about slushies I crave them.
5. I really want a grape or orange slushie now.
6. I am ready for all my favorite tv shows to start back up!
7. It's almost lunchtime and I'm excited.
8. I'm trying to decide if I should go outside for a walk at lunch or if it will make the afternoon harder to get through since it's so nice out.
9. I'm so glad I took the extra time this morning to put dinner in the crockpot so I don't have to deal with it when I get home.
10. Because of the earlier post I've decided to start a Christmas list!
1. My boss was supposed to be on vacation all week. I was so looking forward to this. She has come in yesterday and today. I told her that vacation means not coming into work. Lets hope she listens and takes the rest of the week off!
2. I have been doing water aerobics since middle of July. It really seems to help with the pressure baby puts on my back. I am so glad I made the decision to join the class.
3. My wedding rings are getting rather tight on my fingers. I am proud that I made it this far with them still fitting but I don't want to take them in to get sized since I would be ringless for about 2 weeks.
4. I bought clothes and new bras this weekend. I am ashamed at how much I spent. Most people would think I am crazy but I find it really hard to spend money on clothes.
5. But I am glad I got new bras. Lets hope that the girls are done growing until baby is here!
6. The next big house project we have is to get the wood floors refinished. I have no idea where we are going to move everything while this is being done. Thankfully I can use the pregnancy card and make DH figure it out!
7. MIL does not like the name we picked out for a boy. She likes Logan, which was Dh's #1 choice, I however don't like Logan at all, I think it is becoming to popular. Me and Dh have decided on Nathaniel. She doesn't like it and has basically told Dh that she will either convince me to change the name or just call the baby Logan. She doesn't even know we are having a boy yet. But she doesn't like the girls name either!
8. Because of #7 I am avoiding MIL. If she brings up the topic of names and how she doesn't like them, I may lose my mind! I don't even want to think about her calling my baby by a different name either...
9. I am really liking the cooler weather. Its nice to have fresh air flowing through the house.
10. I am trying to do my cleaning of the house during the week versus all in one day on the weekend. So far, the house looks a lot neater and it was nice being able to do things on Saturday without worrying about when I was going to clean. Lets hope I can keep this up!
1. I'm loving Ritzy's use of emotocons! They make me smile
2. I tried to sleep in this morning at the hotel and the maids were cleaning the room next door to mine and kept waking me up.
3. I am annoyed that my $2 in american was only worth $1.80 in Canadian... it made buying my $2.10 bagel a lot more difficult (I didn't have enough change, although I had $2.10 in american)
4. I had to brake my $5 which they told me was worth $4.50 in Canadian, and I got back $2.40 Canadian... I wonder if I could have gotten $2.66 back in American?
5. I actually did the math to calculate out the correct exchange rate (according to the Timothy's coffee) in #4.
6. I grabbed a bunch of fliers to see what else there is to do around here besides the falls and most of the things I want to do are on the American side...
7. #6 makes me sad, because everyone told me that the falls are much better from the Canadian side.
8. I kind of want to have dinner at the top of the Skylon Tower, but the "cheap" option is still $39.95 a person (in Canadian).
9. I found a "Canadian Dinner Show" called "Oh Canada Eh?" and it made me giggle... There is a moose in the picture, along with a busted up hockey player, a Mountie, an Indian, a "beer wench" with a canadian flag mini skirt, a guy in a yellow rain slicker holding a violin and a woman with a butterfly net. I think I'm going to research this further....
10. I think DH and I are going to go to the Casino tonight!

1) I had a Health Choice Steamer for lunch and it was pretty good. But Im still hungry.
2) Yesterday our office switched from AT&T to Comcast and now we are having phone problems.
3) For some reason I am really tired today. I dont just mean tired, but REALLY tired. I find my mind is not functioning the way that it should.
4) Because of #3 I think I will be going to bed early tonight and skipping Teen Mom.
5) I find myself super annoyed with how things are going on Big Brother.
6) I clearly watch too much TV. But I figure I may as well enjoy it while I can.
7) My family wants to go to the Ren Fest this weekend while we are camping in Holly. DH and I already have plans to go in September by ourselves. We always go to the Ren Fest with a group of people and wanted to go by ourselves this time. I think I might sit at the camp ground while everyone else goes.
8) Business has really slowed down at work and I find I have a lot of time on my hands.
9) I finally updated my blog with pictures of the China Cabinet I refinished and the all day crop I went to. I was going to save this for tomorrow's Blog Wednesday post, but I couldnt think of anything for #9/
10) Im going to finish my lunch hour out by reading the book I brought with me to work.
1. I've been having a lot of trouble the last few weeks with getting dizzy while standing up. Not walking, just when I'm standing still. It's going to be a long 8 weeks until I get my body back!
2. I was supposed to start organizing the gifts from my shower last night. That totally didn't happen.
3. I have to go grocery shopping tonight, so I'm pretty sure I won't get to #2 yet again.
4. At my shower I got a few things that were UofM based (that were adorable by the way). MIL says "Oh, those are cute, even if they are for the wrong team". Um, I went to UM, DH went to community college so has no affiliation but roots for UM with me, my dad & sister went to UM. The fact that your husband went to State has no bearing on what the 'right' team is for my child/family.
5. Related to #4, I can totally see SFIL wanting to dress the LO in state gear just to annoy me.
6. If #5 happens, I'm tempted to come up with some sort of republican-themed outfit for LO to wear next time they see him/her, just to piss them off. (DH and I are middle of the road to conservative, yet they - specifically SFIL - insist on driving all conversations to their far left liberal politics whenever we get together).
7. On a lighter note... I keep forgetting that we're going to the Tiger's game on Thurs and get excited every time I realize I don't have to work that day!
8. I totally forgot about the Tiger's game when I was scheduling our birthing classes, so depending on when the game ends, we might not be able to hang out with the people we're going with afterwards.
9. Hopefully, the people we're meeting at the game will want to do lunch first so that we can hang out a bit beforehand.
10. Despite getting Thurs off of work, I'm feeling very grumpy today. I need to try to not be in such a bad mood.
1. I stopped at Erwins this morning to pick up donuts for my team....I have eaten 3 of them and I still have some sitting on my desk starting back at me!
2. I feel bad for caging my one dog all day long!
3. I want to go home and pick up my dog that is caged because I now have a 5 hour gap til my next Apt and take him with me! But I live 35 min's away and my apt is in the other direction.
4. My H starts all these home renovations and never finishes them.
5. We now don't have a master bath its torn down to the studs!! The babies room is a mess, the 3rd bedroom is a disaster and our master bedroom is also a construction zone.
6. Not to mention the basement and garage! and he wonders why I get an attitude with this....ugh!!!
7. AND if I get an attitude with him, he is the most laid back guy ever and will never EVER feed into it. The other day I got a lil pissy about all these projects and he looked at me and said "must be the baby talking" and walked away!! lol
8. I got a lecture from my Midwife last week on pre-term labor...apparently I had contractions and didn't know it and they lasted a while.
9. My sisters wedding is 9-10-11
10. My bridesmaid dress for this wedding has costed me $350 after rush shipping, maternity, alterations etc etc.... im putting it on ebay after the wedding and I hope someone wants a Blue maternity dress! LOL
My LO is insane sometimes. I think the #1 thing I say to it is 'knock it off'. Of course I completely miss it the days when LO seems to be sleeping all day and would give anything for those monstrous kicks.
This is a big reason why we're not sharing names. I don't care to hear anyone's opinion on names other than DH, and once they're named, there's nothing anyone can do about it.
On a related - but quite a bit less important than your child's name - note... A few years ago FIL/SMIL found a kitten on the golf course but couldn't keep her, so DH and I took her in. Originally SMIL named her 'tiger of the woods'. Okay, kind of cute, but ridiculously long, and she's a girl. And, she's a torti, but our other cat has orange stripes (totally tiger-ish). So, Tiger just wouldn't work. SMIL had had her for a only a couple days, but to this day insists on still calling her 'tiger of the woods' instead of her real name that she's now had for years. So incredibly annoying.

1. I enjoyed my long weekend last weekend and am excited for another one this weekend!
2. I spent way too much time at my parents pool over the weekend, but I know my pool days are getting numbered :-(
3. I went shopping with my sister and found shoes for my brother's wedding, they were on clearance, yay!
4. I love sales & bargins.
5. I love Coach & Kate Spade purses, but have never bought one. I just saw a purple Coach purse at TJ Maxx's for $119 and couldn't justify spending that much on a purse.
6. This summer flew by, how is it the end of August already?
7. I think I have 100 pictures on my desk at work, I am a little obsessed...lol.
8. The majority of them are under a glass thing that I have taken with me to all of my 7-8 different desks I've been at.
9. It is so nice outside.
10. I want to start using my crockpot one day a week.
Awesome! I've never been up in the suites before, I bet they're crazy nice. You'll have to tell me all about it!
1. I am enjoying Noodles today for lunch, and it is sooo good. It's been a really long time since I have allowed myself to have it for lunch.
2. There was a time I would go there at least 3 times a week for lunch, beside all that pasta not being that great for you it was becoming expensive.
3. I called to check the time of my dermatologist appt tomorrow and apparently it was last week Wednesday, but yet I did not receive a "reminder" call.
4. Thankfully I was able to get in tomorrow still. I have some spots I need looked at.
5. I wish I was taking Friday off for a super long weekend. But my coworker is and I have to cover for her:(
6. I am debating if I want to go to Art, Eats and Beats this year, last year was a totally nightmare with the crowd. Maybe if we get there early one day.
7. I finally got my cable switched and the Wow guy was at my house for almost 3 hours last night, super annoying!!!
8. I ordered myself a new cell phone, just the very basic and it came in, now I just have to walk across the street to our shipping and receiving area to get it. I was hoping they would bring it to me.
9. I realize today that I really think my H and I communicate more via text then we talk in person during the week.
10. I did not make it to the grocery store last night, which means I must go tonight.. I hate grocery shopping!
I love my crockpot, we went almost a month without a stove this past spring, don't ask H was determined to fix it. So I had to find other ways to cook things and my crockpot become my go to. My two favorite recipes are chicken chili and chicken with broccoli cheddar soup with rice. Plus it's so nice to just throw stuff in it in the AM and not have to worry about dinner after work!
1. I just finished my left over carne asada from when we went to Cafe Habana last night.
2. I LOVE Cafe Habana.
3. I had two margaritas last night also.
4. I don't know what happened, but at some point after the first one, and while finishing the second one...I got drunk.
5. I was drunk to the point that I was like wasted for about 30 minutes. lol
6. #5 made it hard to drive home.
Luckily we live close.
7. FI and I are going to the Tigers came tonight.
8. I am pretty sure that I have garlic-dragon breath from my lunch.
9. I have an unexpected deposition today.
10. I am sure that they will not appreciate my breath. I need to find gum...
1. The girl who works for me is out the rest of the week. Even though it means more work for me, it is quite peaceful when she is gone.
2. I took an hour and a half lunch and went to the grocery store for a few things, then stopped by home to drop them off. Now I won't have to go to the store for a week and a half so that makes me happy.
3. DH had to shave down our doors after getting new carpet and he took too much off. He clearly didn't think it through or ask my opinion before cutting away. There's nothing we can do now. Ugh.
4. The baby is in an incredibly awkward position today. Usually it's straight up and down, but today the butt and legs seem to be pushed out under my right ribs. I can move it, but it just goes back there.
5. My allergies are finally kicking in and it sucks.
6. I don't know if it's the pregnancy or what, but my dog isn't as attached to me as he used to be. It makes me sad.
7. I can't wait to go to the lake this weekend, I haven't been there in 6 weeks.
8. The realization that we will have a baby in about 8 weeks still hasn't quite sunk in...
9. We had a repairman come out to look at our dishwasher last week and he never called back to tell me how much the replacement parts will cost. I have been on hold with the company for 15 minutes now...
10. DH doesn't think we need to fix our dishwasher because it works, but it makes a loud noise when opening and closing it. Of course, he doesn't realize how annoying this is because he never loads or unloads the dishwasher.

I've never been a big fan of Cafe Habana. I don't think I've had a meal there yet that I would go back and order again. I only like that they give you free chips and salsa during the late night happy hour (although their salsa is a little strange...)

1. B has been putting himself to sleep at naptime for a while and recently started bedtime now too. And he's sleeping much better through the night.
2. I'm getting much better sleep, which should make me in a better mood, but my children seem to trying my patience from dinner time on.
3. I've officially weaned from nursing- 3 days and counting. I'm sad about it, yet happy because it seems to correlate with #1.
4. I've been addicted to home improvement/design shows lately. Since I can't do any work around my rental, I need to live vicariously through the shows.
5. We're looking at at least 2 houses again tonight, hopefully 4. I'm praying that one is a "oooo I MUST have this house".
6. We saw a house this weekend that I really liked, but dh wasn't sure. It's frustrating that we can't agree on a house.
7. My house is a MESS- looks like Irene may have blown through here- and I seriously don't care anymore. I don't have any ambition to clean.
8. I was this > < close to buying hostess cupcakes today because they were BOGO and hiding them. I refrained because I know I'd just eat the entire box in a few days.
9. Dh and I are trying to lose weight (So go me for refraining to buy the previous mentioned lump of lard). he seems to be doing better than me and it makes me sad. He has much better self control.
10. I hate my new neighbors. The quiet, almost never makes an appearance, guy that lived there moved and is renting his house out. When we talked with him he told us it was an older couple with young grandkids for my kids to play with. Sounds good. Then they moved in- it's an older couple with teenaged/20something kids that are in and out, ride mini-motorcycle things at night (not during the day, but starting around 10pm- just up and down the street). I'm also starting to question what's going on over there because there are a number of cars that stop over during the day- just a quick stop, not what I'd call a visit. Reminds me of the days when a friend lived across from a drug dealer. (NOT accusing them, but it makes me wonder what's going on). Makes me want to move even faster now.

Losing it...Without Losing it
1. Despite having 2 bars of battery life left when I left the house, my cell phone died as soon as I got to work this morning.
2. Of course I was right in the middle of texting my sister when #1 happened. And I'm sure I wont' remember what I was going to say when I get home.
3. Of course I don't have a cell phone charger at work. DH & I should have 4 chargers between us, but he's lost 2 somehow. I need one at home and one in the car, so no work charger for me.
4. DH loses things all the time and it really pisses me off. He's lost his brand new nalgene bottle, my favorite travel coffee mug, the U of M sweatshirt I got him for Christmas...just to name a few.
5. MIL is still sleeping on our couch with no sign of leaving any time soon.
6. It's been 3 weeks of #5 now. I don't know how much longer I can take it...
7. I'm getting SO excited about our trip to Germany! Less than 3 weeks now, ahhh!!!
8. Every morning on the elliptical, I tell myself I need to get in shape so I can hike up to the castles in Germany like all those in-shape Europeans. It's the best motivation I've had in a long time.
9. Largely because of #8, I've lost 2 lbs in 4 weeks. At this rate, I might actually reach my goal of losing 10 lbs before we leave! We'll see.
10. I'd lose weight much faster if I could give up beer. I've cut way back but I still think it's too many calories. Oh beer, if only you weren't so tempting after a long day at work...
Those sound so good, I'll have to look them up, thanks! My favorite is Sasla chicken, put frozen chicken breasts in the bottom, sprinkle some taco seasoning on top, and pour salsa on top. Once it's done, I put cheddar cheese on top. So good!
I know, right?!?
You should have the goat cheese appetizer and the carne asada. I crave them!
I should clarify...I did not drive home. FI did. I just don't travel well when intoxicated.

Losing it...Without Losing it
1) I am on vacation and I don't go back to work until next Wednesday.
2) I haven't accomplished nearly as many things as I wanted to so far--morning TV keeps sucking me in!
3) I'm going to my SIL's to hang out with my 4 week old niece so my SIL can get some stuff done around the house.
4) Niece doesn't exactly like to sleep--she fights it all the time.
5) Niece's Dr. said she has the neck control of a 3-4 month old. She holds her head up for quite a long time to look around I think that's the reason for #4 -- she's too curious. LOL.
6) I have so many projects I want to complete before I go back to work and I don't know where to start or I will start something and see another thing that needs to be done and start that. It's like I have A.D.D and it's driving me nutz!
7) We were thinking about meeting my parents up north this weekend and I'm sort of glad DH is too busy with work because that means I will have more time at home to get stuff done. Especially since this is the 1st vacation I've taken that I didn't go somewhere.
8) I plan on having a day to chill and watch Chick Flicks all day! I've had that planned before when DH was out of town for work and so far he has come home early every time and ruined it!
9) I can't stop craving ice cream and I usually am a salty person.
10) I went into 2 stores at the mall yesterday and at the first store the cashier asked me to apply for a Holiday job because I seemed to be such a people person and a perfect fit for a job. The 2nd store I went to I was told by both employees that I was their most favorite customer of the day. I usually go out of my way to make sure I am nice to customer service employees because I remember when I was in their position and hated when people were cranky. It made me smile to know I brightened the day of a few people.
11: Bonus --- I am so excited I actually got to participate in a 10 things Tuesday during the day!!!!
