Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Car update
quick update on the car:
1) the damage was over 25k....ouch
2) Volvo is taking it as a trade in, repairing and then reselling
3) We are getting a new suv, paying the difference post insurance claim and trade in
4) there wasn't a SINGLE 2011 (2012 hasn't gone into production for the finish level we have yet) in the country or in Sweden. They only made 15 2011 with the finish level and color we had.
5) somehow I managed to remember that there was one on display in Vail that we saw last weekend, found out the contact info (it was still owned by corporate, so no dealership to deal with) and we are officially going to own it as of Saturday-posession by next weekend, thanks to hours of phone calls.
6) our last one did not have the DVD/navigation options (we opted out of them) but this one does. Thanks to my pleading about trying to get it, Volvo agreed to sell it to us for the same price as the one we purchased without the additional options.
7) this whole fiasco is costing us between 7-9k.
8) I will now be taking a taxi to the airport, even if it does cost an arm and a leg.
