Nothing new, everything is going well still.

I had one yesterday, just a routine one. Had my first weight gain, 9 pounds in 4 weeks. Next appointment is in 4 weeks and that will be with the GD test. They didn't have a flavor choice, so I'm stuck with orange. After the one hour/three hour and then an orange popsicle while in labor still can't smell orange flavoring without throwing up a little, so this should be fun.
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use?
Boy - Sean. H has a close family friend and said he couldn't consider this name ever. Also any boy name with two syllables ending in "n" was out due to our last name, which eliminated a lot of possibilities
Girl - Michaela. It was my step-sister's name and although we're not family anymore, I couldn't stand her, just loved the name. Also I have 6 Michaels on my side of the family.

Least today - itchy belly
Best today - my belly grew overnight I think. It looks huge today.

I'm so happy to be mostly belly this time around. I was a house, with all over gain, with Alex, and this time it's almost all in the belly (and boobs, so H is happy).

2. When is your next appointment? Just a routine check-up or something exciting (NT, Anatomy Scan, etc.) I see my OB on Friday for a routine check-up. I haven't been able to find the HB's the last couple of times I've tried (nerve-wracking!) so I'm wondering if I'll get an u/s. Usually, I'm faster at finding them than he is!
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use? Jack- love it but I know too many and it's too popular for my taste. Ella- love it but I have a niece named it and it's too popular for my taste.
4. Least favorite part of pregnancy today? Favorite part of pregnancy today? Least: having no clothes that fit! Most: feeling pretty darn good

1. Any milestones? Updates? Changes in symptoms? I'm either vomiting or starving. I'm trying really hard to stay positive but I'm having a tough time. My parents are coming this weekend and I don't have the energy to cook for them or anything like I'd like to.
2. When is your next appointment? Just a routine check-up or something exciting (NT, Anatomy Scan, etc.) Sept. 13th, just heartbeat. Not doing the NT scan.
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use? Nothing for a boy-we have one name and we love it. Never really considered anything else. I have always liked Mariah for a girl, but DH has a cousin that he doesn't like at all who named her baby that. I'm still working on him though.
4. Least favorite part of pregnancy today? Favorite part of pregnancy today? Least-Officially couldn't button dress pants this morning, and it took me 3 hours to get to work from the time I got up. Favorite-just the excitement of really spreading the news now. Started telling friends, will tell more people this weekend.

2. When is your next appointment? Just a routine check-up or something exciting (NT, Anatomy Scan, etc.) Sept 23rd should be a regular pee-in-a-cup appt. Maybe she'll use the doppler (both previous have been u/s appts)
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use? I don't have any really. DH and I have always wanted to use family names, which has made talking about this difficult. We've promised to not talk about it until after the anatomy scan. We're also not telling people the chosen name.
4. Least favorite part of pregnancy today? Favorite part of pregnancy today? Least favorite: difficulty sleeping, Favorite: I don't know as I don't normally 'feel' pregnant. Feeling baby move - if that's what I'm feeling - it's super sporadic and not like any description I've heard.
5. Anything else you'd like to share? My brother and SIL are pregnant!! I talked with my brother this weekend and they are a month behind us. I am so excited! This is their second LO. I'm wishing that we lived closer to share in this journey together...1. Any milestones? Updates? Changes in symptoms? Nothing new, feeling pretty good most of the time.
2. When is your next appointment? Just a routine check-up or something exciting (NT, Anatomy Scan, etc.) Somewhere around 24 weeks, just a routine visit.

Hmm, I'm not sure if it's my favorite, but we both like Kenai for a boy but since we already used an Alaskan-themed boy name it would be too cheesy to use another Alaskan name. Again, for a girl, not necessarily my favorite but we like Aurora (after the aurora borealis) but when paired up with our last name it sounds a little Scooby-Dooish. Go ahead and say it in a Scooby voice Aurora Ro-.

I think I'm feeling baby girl move now. Felt some random stuff over the past week and a bunch on Sunday. Can't wait for it to be more consistent. Other than that, just feel completely normal, I like this part.

Least - my RLP is getting ridiculous. It hurts SO bad when I wake up to pee in the middle of the night. Fave - feeling this little guy roll and kick all day. He is SO active.

I had one last Thursday and the dr. said that everything looks so good that I'm not going to every 2 weeks yet, I'm still waiting the 4 weeks for my next appt.

I can't think of any names that we like that family or close friends have already used...that would be the only reason that we COULDN'T use a name.
4. Least favorite part of pregnancy today? Favorite part of pregnancy today?
Least favorite part: not being able to get comfortable at night. I have been starting the night out in bed, then after an hour or so of tossing and turning moving to the couch for a couple of hours. When I wake up to go pee I'll move back into the bed. That is going to make the next 11 weeks seem longer!
Favorite part: The anticipation of meeting this little girl and seeing what she looks like...will she have red hair like Marshall?

I posted this in the happy post on Friday, but last week we had a follow-up ultrasound to check on the cysts they saw in her brain at the 20 week ultrasound and they are all gone! Such a relief!

Not too much has changed, DH is able to feel her a LOT easier these days, which we both really like. She was pretty calm yesterday but then kept me up a lot last night when I was trying to fall asleep.

I went last Thursday and my next appointment is next Wednesday, I'm at every two weeks now. It's crazy having all my appointments scheduled now until the end! It's a regular appointment, but I do have a fetal weight ultrasound before the appointment, since last appointment I was measuring 3 weeks ahead. We are very excited to be able to see her again.
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use?
As of now we don't have any favorite boy names that we can't use, and not really anything for girl names. Although we do like the name Grace, but my brother has dibs on it, although we probably wouldn't name a girl that anyway.

Nosebleeds would definitely be the worse part of pregnancy today, although I'm not 100% sure it's pregnancy related, or if it's allergies. Favorite part of pregnancy today would be feeling her move all around.

One of these days I'll upload a bump picture, we haven't taken any in a while, but took one on Sunday.

Yep. Still here. 41 weeks today. Saw an acupuncturist this morning to induce labor. Still haven't had what I would identify as a "contraction" but my belly has been tightening a lot more. He thought that it should work and I should go into labor by Friday, but if not to call and he would do another session Saturday or Sunday.

Has my last appointment this afternoon. They did a non-stress test again and baby cooperated this time. Baby looks good. Still no dilation or effacement, but my cervix was at least soft this time which is an improvement. Baby is still really high and not engaged.
Next "appointment" is induction. I go in next Monday night for cervidil with induction with pitocin on Tuesday.
3. Favorite boy name you could never use? Favorite girl name you could never use?
Damien. DH and I both love the name but could never use it becaus of the movie (Damien - The Omen). Madeline - DH's cousin used it.
4. Least favorite part of pregnancy today? Favorite part of pregnancy today?
Least favorite part - everyone asking me when I'm going to have the baby and the likelihood of an induction.
Favorite part - baby has been really active and I keep thinking this will be the last time I will feel this baby move inside of me.

It's not that it hurts, but it is so constant it drives me nuts sometimes. I wish he would just calm down lol. Favorite part of pregnancy today? DH rubbing my belly and talking to the baby.
