How's everyone doing?
I've been doing ok. I was down 0.5 this week, so things are still moving, albeit slowly. I'm trying not to get too impatient. I think my boobs are shrinking, which is good, but weird. I'm struggling with making the effort to go to the gym. That is one area I definitely need to improve.
Re: Accountability
Down 1 pound from last week, as well as 1 inch everywhere. Not a huge deal to most, but it was the first time I've measure and actually seen results in that short a time, so it was encouraging!
I actually quit the gym. It was just too much work to get the boys loaded up and it screwed with our routine. I've been doing DVD workouts, and actually sticking to them for the first time in a while. I got a new one that I really enjoy. It's less of the traditional aerobic-type stuff, so it works. I'm just going to rotate among my collection, adding in yoga on my off days and here and there as I can.
My main thing this week has been diet. I really focused on my eating, and it made a difference. Unfortunately, I was down 2 pounds, but gained 1 back over the weekend because of DH's lack of self control, so I told him I'm putting him on it too.
My focus for this week is to actually take the time to plan out our meals, make DH's and my lunches ahead of time so we're not tempted to cheat, and NOT bring anything tempting into the house. For the first time in a while, I feel like I can actually do that!

The last three months have been a joke for me gym-wise.
So, Sunday I biked 16 miles on a trail with another couple and my DH and tonight the same friend and I are going to Zumba. I'm very skeptical about this Zumba shenanigans but I know anything is better than nothing. I hope this jump starts my workout routine again.
I've lost 5 lbs since last Monday but I don't want to talk about it anymore or I feel like I'll jinx myself. lol
I've been 100% on track with the gym (body pump/zumba 3x/wk) for the last month.
You'll have fun! You like dance, right? A lot depends on the instructor, so if you don't like this one instructor that doesn't mean you don't like zumba.
Go into it with an open mind and you'll have a good time.
How much have you lost, lady?? And over how long? Seems like you've been dropping 2-5 lbs per week since we started doing this! Congrats!
That's AWESOME. Twenty-nine pounds is seriously great. You should feel really good.

That's awesome! You've really been on the ball! Im down 25 since March and I would like to lose 10 more. It sucks to be losing this slow, but at least its supposed to stay off when you do it like this.

From my perspective, exercise is just icing on the cake (bad metaphor?). Yeah it's nice, but diet is so much more important.
