Maryland employment question
When you leave a job in Maryland, are employers required to pay for unused vacation time that has been earned/documented? I found some answers online but I'm curious about this for a friend and I wondered what others knew.

I thought if it is documented on the pay stub, they have to pay out, unless there is a contract that details what happens when someone leaves, fired, etc
