Anyone watch outrageous parties?

I was shocked by the insanity. A graduation party for preschooler costing over $30,000??????    Now, I am not a parent but please tell me this is not the norm.
sometimes all you really need in life is a pink wig.

Re: Anyone watch outrageous parties?

  • i watched it once when i was bored. i can't imagine spending 30,000 on a party. thats a down payment for a new house!

the parents are nuts. both the ones that plan them, and the ones that don't stop their partner.

    so not the norm!

  • Okay, listen, if I had serious eff you money, I would in a heartbeat. I'm talking BIG BIG BIG money though.

ETA: BIG money = tons in savings, tons set aside for our and our kid's future, an appropriate amount set aside for charity, etc.
