Moms of 2 come in

What is the etiquette for sending out birth announcements for the 2nd child?  I would love to design something cute but it just seems like a lot of effort when everyone I know/care about is on fb and has been over to see him anyway.

Thoughts?

  • I know my family would appreciate a picture of the baby, even if they've already met him.

  • I still sent out birth announcements. But then again, we have family in other states and friends of H who haven't seen/met her yet.

  • I'm no help. I dropped the ball both times and never got around sending them out for either one. But if you did for Ava and want to for Jax, I say go for it. I like receiving cute birth announcements, and it doesn't matter to me if I've seen the baby IRL or on FB already.

  • I always expect to get a birth announcement when my friends & family have children, whether its their 1st or 3rd. I have never, not received one.... if that helps?
