Well it wasn't really how we had planned as the contractions started around 4:30 Monday night. We had a c-section planned for Tuesday so it was just a tad early. I was having really close contractions, 2 minutes apart and strong, yet the on call dr still didn't want to do the c-section, she wanted to stop the contractions. Ugh. So the med she gave me to slow them down actually sped them up. At this point I was livid. Just do the fricking c-section! Plus I felt like they weren't properly monitoring me for a VBAC. There were several times that her heart rate dropped below 70 and they did nothing. Finally the called the dr in and we got the show on the road. Catelyn Ann was born at 2:16am on 8/30/2010. She is absolutely beautiful. Dark blue eyes and brown hair. She weighed in at 8 pounds 8 ounces and is 18 3/4 inches long. She has done great with nursing and is a true and true daddy's girl He has been great even changing all of the diapers and she has had 2 poo filled ones. Impressive for a guy that has changed one diaper before
