Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Re: Any May 2009 Nesties in the Hurricane Path?
I'm in Norhtern VA and we got some pretty good winds and rain. We lost powerr for a short time in the middle of the night and again while we at mass and out to lunch! We have great timing I guess!
THe wind did shake our windows a lot, and since we are new home owners (just a month) it was VERY nerve racking! Not at all the devistation experienced other places though. My heart goes out to those greatly effected. Hope everyone is safe!
