QOTD

What creature terrifies you the most?

Possum's. One time, I was driving with a friend and we were headed to the bar. We were driving down the road and saw this thing with these HUGE eyes starting at us and we we got closer the thing FELL and fell right on top of the car. We screamed so LOUD, like hysterically, all the way to the bar. When we got there our other friends couldn't figure out what the hell happened to us and when they found out that it was just a possum, it was just super funny for a long time.

Re: QOTD

  • snakes. any size, any type.  i can barely watch them on tv

  • Spiders and snakes top the list for me.
  • Snakes, frogs, and worms are my top 3.

Not afraid of these but usually on the look out at night for skunks, raccoons, and possums just because of the possibility of rabies or gettng sprayed by the skunk.

  • Snakes actually don't bother me. My brother used to have a pet snake and I held it all the time.

I'm TERRIFIED of those heinously ugly disgusting spider crickets. The ones that look like giant spiders and jump RIGHT AT YOU like crickets. I shudder just thinking about them.

  • Spiders for sure. It's the way they move, it's just all wrong. It's like evil with legs.

  • Definitely snakes and spiders for me.  Snakes can move and they don't have legs.  Creepy.  And, anything that has more appendages than me is just wrong.

Ooh, I forgot about house centipedes.  I had them in my old apartment.  They are creepy.

  • ooh, yes, snakes and spiders, but also bees - even pictures make me shudder.

When I was younger I was terrified of the jackalope (sp?) - that rabbit with horns that I think was on America's Funniest Videos or something.  My brother still teases me.

    ETA: and bats - ewwwww

  • Birds and Cats.

Seriously.  I hate them both (sorry, cat lovahs).

Birds are disgusting and scary and they creep me out they way their necks jerk around.

Cats are sneaky, calculating creatures who I'm sure would slit your jugular at a moment's impulse.

Oh, and I'm admittedly terrified of snakes and spiders too...a close third and fourth to birds and cats.
