today is our 8th wedding anniversay - can't believe it was that long ago. 8 years sounds like forever - haha!

nothing special - i didn't want to bother anyone with babysitting and it's harder midweek since we do a lot at night to prep for the next day...so just a nicer than usual dinner - grilled steaks, baked potatoes, cornbread...maybe grilled eggplant, and apple pie and ice cream for dessert. eating with the kids.
certainly not as nice as dinner out at a restaurant that i don't prep, cook and clean!

haha! see, i'm a b!itch - i would have turned to dh and declared it wasn't an appropriate anniversary dinner if i was sitting at a table with a kid - any kid! i always choose a non-kid kind of place because i just need a peaceful break. i love mine, but i like eating a nice meal without them too!

Happy Anniversary!
I started out annoyed because the kid was LOUD and it was already 8:30 when we sat down. But the more I drank (yummy cantolope martini!), the cuter he became. Plus, his father was sitting next to us and was pretty entertaining.
