Superhero Cape!

With 3 year old nephews, I'm not sure a better gift exists. This is for the birthday of my husband's nephew. I have two more to make for two of my nephews for Christmas. I'm going to change the neckstrap a bit for the next one. And I need some cooler superhero logos for the next two as well.
The logos are from felt. I think i hate Heat and Bond. I was having a lot of trouble getting it to adhere on the red side.
This is the next to last project I have to finish before we fly home for the weekend. The last one is the slip for the dress, since my MIL pouted when I told her I didn't know if I'd get it done. If the gathering foot is in the mail tomorrow, I'll crank it out.

So cute! I need to make one for my kids- maybe for Xmas.
You don't need a special foot to gather, you know- I have one, but, never, ever use it. I just push up the thread tension and use a long stitch, and my machine gathers very nicely.
