Wineries near Landsdowne Resort/Leesburg
DH and I are going to do a little mini trip to the Landsdowne Resort this weekend and I thought that we could check out a winery or two if there are any over that way? It was thrown together last minute, so I don't know much about it, and am happy to lounge by the pool or hang in the spa if there are no good ones close... though I feel like I remember someone who visited a couple up that way.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

I liked Tarara, just up route 15, but I know little about wine.
And, darn, you'll pass the Leesburg Outlets...

We belong to the farm that is associated with Bluemount Vineyard and personally I am not very much a fan of their wines, but I do agree that it is really pretty setting. Two wineries that I do love that are right near this vineyard at Sunset Hill and North Gate, both of which are about 30 minutes or so from Lansdowne. I just stayed at Lansdowne in June for a wine 1/2 marathon and loved the resort, have a fun weekend!

ooh thanks for all the great suggestions everyone! that's a lot to choose from!
we just went out there in june and our favorites were fabbioli, hiddencroft, and chrysalis. we also liked quattro goombas but not all the wines are theirs so that was slightly weird. it was a stop on our way from chrysalis back to leesburg but i wouldn't go out of the way for it. we came home with three cases of wine, most of which were fabbioli and hiddencroft. both do seriously awesome raspberry wines.
