So DH and I are trying to figure out what we actually want to do this weekend. We were thinking of the Romeo Peach Festival, but with the weather, I want to have a back up plan.
So tell me what is everyone doing for the wonderful long weekend?
Re: Labor Day weekend
dh is going back home for a fantasy football draft with his friends so it will be just me and the kids Sun and Mon. I'm going to try to go see The Help Saturday by myself.
That's the extent of fun for me.

Losing it...Without Losing it
I just scored a couple free tickets for the U of M game on Saturday from the realtor that helped me with purchasing my home 3 years ago! Definitely excited about that.
Also, I live within walking distance of Arts, Beats, and Eats, so FI and I have talked about going. We definitely want to, we just want to plan when we go a little better (as far as musical acts). I know it was really crowded last year, but I also know that they expanded the area that the festival takes up. So hopefully it will be better. Regardless, I think it is good to go and support the event and the City.
Sooooooo, I read your post, and was thinking, "I don't know why she put 'this weekend' when Labor Day is two weeks away." Err, oops.
I am losing track of time!
I have no idea what we're doing. Probably more work on the basement and sorting stuff for a garage sale. Hopefully catching up on some sleep!
We're going to the UM/WMU game on Saturday (here's hoping it doesn't rain). I'm going to go shopping on Sunday while DH works on fantasy football draft. And we don't have any plans for Monday....I hope it stays that way!
It's kind of up in the air. One of DH's friends invited us up to his family's cottage up north, but we aren't really sure if its a firm invitation or one of those things you just say but don't follow up on.
If we don't go up north, we'll probably head out to BWW to watch the UM/WMU game with a few friends. No plans for Sunday or Monday, but DH will probably be working on storage for the garage while I work on putting things away, organizing in the baby's room.
We are doing nothing. Maybe the U of M game on Saturday (grr...after posting that we got tickets, we might not get them). I'm so thankful to have a low-key weekend. I can't remember the last time we didn't have anything planned for an entire weekend.
Well, I'll actually be scanning photos and making two slideshows from the last 20 years of the Miss Wayne Co Pageant. It's our 20th anniversary next weekend!

Nothing special here, but I just got back from 5 1/2 days in Cincy, so I had my pre-Labor Day trip. DH comes home Fri. night, his sister is coming that night from Pittsburgh to stay the weekend & then my IL's are coming late Sat. for a few days. I think my parents are coming down Sun. to see my IL's/SIL, so we might BBQ, since my mom just had some leg surgery, so she doesn't really want to get out.
I'll also be watching the UM/WMU game on tv, since I'm a proud WMU grad!!!
And since I have 3 ppl coming this weekend, I know they'll be playing/watching the kids, so hopefully I can get some work done as well.
