I should have just stopped in to see for myself.
Is the Hannaford that's near Cony HS any different inside than a regular one, or does it just look fancy from the outside? I was up that way yesterday and should have just looked.
Weird question, I know, but I love a nice grocery store. I had serious Wegman's withdrawal when we moved back up.
Re: I should have just stopped in to see for myself.
It isn't fancy. It is "green", the freezer lights are on a motion sensor, etc. I think it is set up so it is spacially more efficient but I can't get used to it. I go sometimes because it is closer to my house than Whitten Road (especially with the construction).
But it is 100x better than Gardiner Hannaford which is a fvcking dump.
Really?? I might have to go to Whitten Rd just to check. Cony St is, seriously, the next road over. I have been known to walk there and back on my lunch to get a salad (and ice cream! lol)
I don't mean to but in here... but I couldn't help to second the Wegman's withdrawal. Everywhere DH and I have moved since living in Western NY doesn't have anything we've liked as much as Wegman's.
No, not butting in at all! I'm glad someone else recognizes the amazingness!
