Plastic Surgery

This may have been asked before, but I can't remember, so deal. A certain female in my life who shall remain nameless is always talking about wanting plastic surgery. I'm not one for plastic surgery, but I could see myself doing a boob lift after having kids, as I'm large chested and we don't need these babies droopin.

So would you have or have you had plastic surgery? If yes - what have you/would you have done?

Re: Plastic Surgery

  • Something to get rid of this fat.
  • I go back and forth on this, I would love to get a breast lift but I'd be trading sag for scars and I just don't know if it's worth it.
  • That's a good point Margie... I never thought of it that way.

  • I guess it's not a big deal if your main priority is to look good when dressed. I just know that personally, I would hate the scars always.
  • As most know, my gals are HUGE.  I do know that they are going to hang to my knees by the time I'm 60, but I don't care.  My girls are the ONE thing on my whole bod I would never mess with. They are the only thing I like about this old bod of mine.
  • Before having a baby, I always said I wouldnt. But NOW, I would love a tummy tuck to fix my skin and stretch marks (thats if they just cut it off) and a boob job.

But after having a c-section and knowing what abdominal surgery feels like, Im too chicken. More then anything, the numbness that goes on. It freaks me out to touch my stomach and not feel it. So ultimatly, I wouldnt get anything done for that reason alone.

  • I'd get a boob lift and reduction fo sho' - my mom had it done when I was in high school, and she said she wouldn't change a thing. I'm in!

  • I'm not overall opposed to the idea for other people, although I don't think I would ever do it.  My aunt had her boobs done and it is quite obvious since they are nearly touching her chin now and hard as freaking boulders when she hugs you.  I think you should only do it if you can afford a really great surgeon who can make it look not obvious.  Otherwise, don't bother.

  • I'm not against it but don't really think it's something I would do (but this is coming from someone who has not gone through pregnancy/post baby saggy boobs so that might change?).  When I was younger I wanted a nose job.  I still don't like my nose at all, but now I feel like it's just me and I wouldn't want to look totally different.
  • lipo and boobs, definitely.

  • After having LB, I decided that I would love a boob lift.  I was a D before having her, a DD when I first started nursing, and now my DD bras barely fit.  I dont know if I could ever actually go through with it though.

  • I definitely would like to have work done to my boobs. My whole life I have been self conscience of them. They are not hugh but not perky at all. I blame my mother for not putting me in a bra early enough. They didn't change much after having a baby. So once I "pop out another one" (DH's words) I'm definitely going to get a lift/implants/something done!!!

  • Oh, I forgot I am absolutely having thermal skin tightening done once I get to wear I want to get physically. It's not exactly on the same level as cosmetic surgery, but it's something. I do not like the way a tummy tucked belly button looks. Hopefully by next summer.

  • Maybe my stomach if I can't get it back to where I want.  I need a new Dh though with $$ to waste on the surgery.  After 2 C-Sections and bouncing back quick I think I could handle it, I want my 6pack back so bad, 2 years is long enough.

I always said I'd do boobs too until I had Jack and got huge boobs and was in pain.  I have been icing these pups for 5 days now to go back down from the milk, I swear I had a size F on Sunday.  My boobs have always been what people thought were way bigger then they were too, DH had been asked if they were fake before.

  • hell yes, i would love my boobies to be back the way they were before DD.  but for me that would require a lift and implants.  :(  booo.  it's all a dream anyway.  in reality i'd never spend the money on something so trivial when that money could go to my kids.  if we hit the lottery however, that's another story...

  • i have small boobs and i always worry that after kids they are gonna be small and all shriveled if i decide to breast feed, so i would consider getting my boobs done to a normal reasonable size afterwards. My DH says i'm crazy
