i have re-hired our cleaning person!!!!!! well, actually his wife.
i gave him up when we left our TH because our expenses were about to be increased and I didn't think I could afford it. Then when things got easier, I got pg with Sam, and didn't know what daycare would cost, or how my job was after being on maternity leave 3 mos and dh's company is having issues still...but you know what? we can't keep up with it and now that i have a baby on the floor, it needs to be cleaner - lol!
he left residential cleaning for corporate cleaning, and his wife took over the houses. she used to come with him on her days off so they could clean in half the time and get some down time together, so I know I'm ok with her too.

her price varies by job - dependent on # rooms, bathrooms, etc. we had tons of carpeted stairs in our last place which i know were a pain for him to vaccuum and carry al his supplies up and down, so I think that contributed to that price....
my mom's house is much larger so she pays more. my aunts both use them for probably 15-20 years, so i think they have a different price....
