Hey Everyone! My first work post from my new job! I've been trying to keep up with everything going on here but it's tough while I'm still getting acclimated to my new job/office/boss.
My new job is going really, really well. Commute is shorter, hours are better and much more flexible - I get home an hour earlier every day which is amazing - and my boss is really great (so far at least!). He also happens to be totally preoccupied because he and his wife are expecting their first baby and she is being induced this Friday! He will be out Friday, all next week, and on a limited schedule for a few weeks after that. He's been anxious to train me as much as he can before he leaves but I think I'm getting the hang of things quickly.
Our other news is that we finally got our new puppy last night! We named her Isabella - Izzy for short. She is adorable. I was able to go home for lunch today to take her out but she had already gone on the puppy pad we left for her and refused to go when I took her out after her lunch. Tremendous failure. Oh well, just gotta keep plugging away. Looking forward to this long weekend so we can spend more time with her and work on her feeding schedule! We were supposed to drive to New Jersey this weekend to get her but due to Hurricane Irene, the breeder evacuated to her parent's house which is closer to us down the Cape! So we ended up getting her earlier than expected. That's about it. Left a book for you to read, kudos if you finished!
