***Jaay***

I have the exact same pet peeve as you when it comes to people saying they are old! Just the other day we were meeting our new neighbors and they asked how old we were so we told them (28 and 29) and the woman replies back with "Oh, you two are just babies" so I asked her how old she was and she tells us 32. HA! Apparently being two years younger than her makes me a baby. And, I get annoyed by people thinking 30 is old. It's not. I have even been legally drinking for 10 years yet.

Re: ***Jaay***

  • A majority of the people I work with are 45-55 so allllllll daaaaaaay loooooong I hear about how young I am and how decrepit and old they are. Gets old (no pun intended) fast.

  • MIL always complains about being old. I don't get it. You are as old as you feel / act. And by that, my grandmother is younger than her.
  • Glad I'm not the only one :)

All these people will surely age quicker if they keep telling themselves that.

    Happiest place on Earth!
