Thankfully after Irene we didn't loose any power but so many people have. So many street lights are still out. Even at work, we have no phone and Internet and our network is completely down. What a booooooring day at work. Gah..

Re: Power outages
I can't even imagine what I could get done without phone/internet at work. Filing??
That's a good idea and I didn't do it! HA!
I basically sat around, reorganized my desk, dusted my desk, took a ride to the grocery store to buy some goodies for my coworkers and played on my phone. It was the complete opposite of a productive day.
We were without power from Sunday morning until very late last night.
I'm not going to lie ... it sucked! We showered at the gym, had dinner at the IL's and brought our electronics to work each day to charge.
It could have been much worse, though. Some of my co-workers are still without power (it could be a week or more before they get it back).

Well, this afternoon, our network was restored, along with the phones and internet. Thank the Lord!!
