birthday ideas?
Soo...I am turning 30 next month (well October) and DH keeps asking me what I want for my birthday. I can only come up with little ideas and he wants something better. For his 30th we went to Disneyworld but that's not in the cards this year.
We can't really go anywhere as Evan's 1st bithday party is the weekend of my birhday.
Thoughts? What would you ask for?

Ditto! Mine is on the 17th. My sister is throwing my mom (mom turns 50 on Sept 17th) and I a huge party at a hotel.
DH hasn't asked what I want yet. We've been married for 2 years and I have been wanting a second wedding band and the last two years, it has been a no go. Even for Anniversary or Christmas. Although he has gotten some great gifts. I'm hoping this birthday will be the one!
But if he doesn't get me that, hmmm... not sure what I would want.
We don't have kids and I don't like the October birthstone.
Dinner out with friends is what we usually do. We had my birthday at Benihana's one year. There were about 10 of us, no kids and then we went to a club/pub afterwards for drinks.
I am jealous, I had so much fun at the chef's table there. I still have my cute apron!

Mine is the 16th!
I'm doing a Chef for a Day thing at Brennan's that I'm pretty excited about thanks to all my friends and family.
We are having a party on a sailboat in Kemah (thanks to my uncle who sells them and has the hookup).
Last year for DH's 30th we did helicopter rides (because he is a pilot-in-training).
Some other ideas we tossed around were a bowling thing at 300, or a throwback party at Dave and Busters (because it's like an adult version of ChuckECheese.)
My neighbor Lou is a chef there. He usually is the one that does these things. He is AMAZING!!!! You will have a blast~!
