Aren't shingles like chicken pox?
yeah...you technically can't get them unless you've had the chicken pox....but my parents, brother, and i have no recollection of me ever having chicken pox. my guess is that i got a chicken pox vaccine back in the day....i was born right around the time they came out with it. dr said i also could've had a very mild case of it where i got no "external" pox.

Friends had some classic moments
Gum would be perfection followed by I am stuck in a vestibule with...
Or the episode where Chandler and Phoebe are trying to seduce each other, it was soooo awkward
Or the one where they are at the beach house and Rachel writes the fifty billion page letter to Ross that he pretends to have read
They had some good sad episodes... like when Monica and what's his face break up, and she starts crying over his hair in the shower drain. Or when Ross and Rachel were on a break and he slept with the girl from the copy place, and Ross is desperately trying to get her back, and the episode ends with Rachel staring out the rainy window. I might be mixing my episodes/season there. Or how about when they get back together, at the coffee shop, and they are just staring at each other and then she has to unlock the door to let him in. awwww.
Dang - apparently thinking about Friends episodes is way better then working.

i haven't seen it from the beginning either. i loyally watched it only for about 3 seasons (i think about 5, 6, 7) but i had always watched it if it was on in the earlier seasons. by watching strictly reruns (since they ended more than SEVEN years ago), i've pretty much seen every episode.

I looove friends. I have all ten seasons on DVD. Here are my favorites:
The one where Chandler is in a box
The one where Rachel makes the Thanksgiving Deseret (part sheppards pie, part trifle)
The one where Joey fixes Pheobe up with Mike
The one where no one is ready (Could I BE wearing any more clothes?)
Gosh I could go on for ever. I really like Pheobe's wedding and the one where Chalder proposes to Monica. They make me cry every time. I also like the whole string of episodes where Monica and Chandler try to keep their relationship a secret.

Friends randomly comes up in my life. The other day, I offered to babysit for my friends for their fifth wedding annviersary. (They had 9:30 reservations at Canlis.) And the baby WOULD NOT go down. So they had to cancel. But I joked that I could pull a Ross's mom and 'watch' the baby while drinking it up at the lounge while they ate dinner.
I like the episode where Joey trades in eating meat so Phoebe can eat his share while she's pregnant.
Agreed. I also really like the one with Rachel's 30th birthday.
