Wishful Wednesday
I wish that Irene hadn't brought so much flooding with her. I keep seeing pictures of places I love underwater and it's breaking my heart.
I wish that we never have to deal with such a long power outage again.
I wish that we could all get together for a Nestie girls night out.

I wish (and hope and pray and everything else) that today is a better day at work than yesterday.
I wish today and tomorrow go quickly at work.
I wish for a safe and fun trip this weekend.
I wish this new tropical system stays out to sea and doesn't hit land anywhere.
I wish that our home inspection goes well tomorrow.
I wish that the rest of the work week would go by quickly.
I wish $5,000 would magically appear in our bank account. It would really help us right now.
I wish I could go on a shopping spree. R and I are both in dire need of a new wardrobe.
I wish that those affected by Hurricane Irene in various ways will receive some relief soon (especially Kate and any other Nesties!!)!!
I wish that our basement dries out completely and that we don't have to replace the carpet or worry about mold.
I wish that we have a good long weekend ahead, even though our plans keep deteriorating before my eyes!

I wish the Xerox CSR would have just sent out the technician like I had requested instead of telling me the new parts weren't installed properly. Grr!

I wish the girl who sits next to me in my MW class would learn to STFU. I don't care about your boyfriend's temper tantrum... I care even less when I'm trying to listen to the class discussion and take notes.
I wish Sept. 17th would get here soon so I can finally take a mini vacation and spend some quality time on the beach.

I wish my phone would ring and HR would offer me a job.... school starts on Tuesday :-/
That really wraps it all up. A teaching job would give me better hours, more money, better benefits, and not to mention holidays, weekends and summers with my baby. Come on school system!

I also wish we could afford for me to work part time/that my job would allow me to work part time. I love working and my job and I need to work to stay sane, yet lately I am having a really hard time with how much I am away from Kyle.
