Idk if you saw or not, but every day my friend I'm going on the road trip with and I post quotes from the Creek. (And maybe texts here and there too lol) I came across this one.
"Well, I should probably just start first, that you, Josephine Potter, have just wrecked me. In the best possible way, you have absolutely wrecked me. Because you see, I fell in love with you, knowing that there was never any possibility of being with you. Knowing full well that a sizeable chunk of your heart would always be wrapped up in our friend, Dawson. And that much was actually okay with me. Right up to the point that you chose me. Cause then you just turned everything on it's head. And I got everything that I wanted, and from that day forward, I've just been a wreck. "
Swoooooooooon. I loved Pacey!
Re: Swoooon. *Liz and Krissy you'll appreciate this.*
HAHAHA As you would say..word. I remember watching the series finale and in that little dream sequence when they showed Dawson and Joey at their wedding I let off more 4 letter words than you could even imagine. Then when they showed the last scene and Joey goes,"Are you crying?" and it pans to Pacey I squealed like a little girl. I LOOOOOVED them together!
I hated seasons 5 and 6-except for the last episode. Kevin Williamson didn't write these two seasons..maybe that's why. I think he stopped writing somewhere through season 4.
While I loved Dawson's Creek, the way they spoke drove me crazy.
Seriously? When have you EVER heard a teenager say something like this?
Dawson was such a whiner. But I have to admit the following:
*I wanted Dawson and Joey together in the first and second season so Jen would go away. I couldn't stand her at first-though she made me laugh. By the end I loooved Jen.
*Jen and Jack's relationship always got me right here *points at heart*. I loved them.
*Pacey and Andie broke my heart. I cried on that episode where Andie "cools it in crazy camp" as Pacey's dad says and Pacey FLIPS out and punches him. Then starts crying. HEART. BREAKING.
*Am I the only one who couldn't stand those stupid ding dongs on their for a few episodes? Devon? Eve Whitman? GAG. Stick to the basics, guys!
*The songs "Feels Like Home", "Outta My Head", and "I Don't Wanna Wait"...and of course,"I'll Be" reminds me of DC so much. I can tell you when each song was played and on what episode (s). (I Don't Wanna Wait is a given but you know what I mean).
I think that was part of the charm of the beginning of the show, because it was supposed to be them over-analyzing everything and just being too involved in their own heads. It definitely got better as the show went on and they grew up.
And it's much better than having to listen to the Gilmore Girls people talk. Holymotherfuckingshitballs those people need to slow the eff down.
