Nate's been sleeping almost normal again lately, but...
Rodgers texted me from work last night asking if I'd mind him working this morning because he wants the overtime. He's scheduled to work past midnight several days this week (usually gets off at 11) because he's training shift 3. I told him if he wanted to work all day today to go ahead, but I'm not worried about money; we don't really need the extra overtime this week. September's bills are paid. He signed up to work.
Nate was up for about 30 min around 11 last night, then again at 1:15 this morning (my shift). He wanted to cuddle in the rocking chair, but couldn't get comfortable on top of my tummy. The weight of Nate plus the incessant rib kicks from the inside gave me some strong contractions. I thought I was going into labor, but no. My kids are just beating me up!
Rodgers' Nate shift started at 3, and Nate went back to sleep at 3:15... We were up about 7:15 this morning. Nate refused to eat breakfast. Rather, he just wanted to throw his food all over the floor and yell "Mess!" It's cute, but I wasn't in the mood. Then he spilled my cup of coffee on the carpet. Annoying, but there are advantages to having generic apartment coffee-stain colored carpet.
We were supposed to buy groceries this morning to have something for lunch, but I'm tired. Hopefully Nate will take a good nap this afternoon, and I can join him, and we'll buy groceries once we're both better rested. In the meantime, we're watching lots of TV. Papa John's emailed me a coupon. I need a treat. I think it's a sign. So, we ordered pizza for lunch.
And Rodgers owes me lots of pampering. Of all days for Rodgers to work a double...

Nate's been asleep over 2 hours! He should wake up any minute now. I tried to sleep, but have too much on my mind and to-do list. I forced myself to lay in bed, for an hour. That felt good.
