School started here on 8/17 so I've been super busy, I went back to the school for 2 weeks to make sure the person they hired to take my place knew the ropes... so that stint ended this past friday, My car (THAT I JUST BOUGHT!) has been in the shop since the 17th now too, it was overheating and we tried fixing it but nothing was working so we took it to the dealership.... they replaced the fan motor, called and said it was ready to go, I took it, got 28 miles with it and it overheated again.
Back to the dealership it went, and now it's got a cracked head & head gasket... so the car we bought for $2500 on June 22nd... yeah it's now up to $5300 with repairs, $50 muffler, $475 fan motor, $2300 head & head gasket... Geez. Plus it needs wheel bearings. What a money pit. So other than stressing about that I'm working a lot at my other job, Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30 with clients, then 9-1 on saturday, which between working days at the school, afternoons with kiddos, I'm rarely home before 8pm and by that time all I want to do is sleep, I occasionally have gotten online and lurked to read posts... but havent' had time to do an update
So update on baby, I had an ultrasound on Monday, waiting on the results, but I'm measuring (from pelvic bone to top of uterus) at 34 weeks instead of 32, so my doc ordered an ultrasound to measure Layla to see what she's at, I haven't heard results yet so I'm hoping to hear tomorrow. I'm at the point where I have to go in every 2 weeks for check-ups, I remember back in Feb thinking that I would never get there, it's gone by SOOOO fast! less than 8 weeks left! Her name is going to be Layla Alice Rose, My nana (Who is certifiably nuts) had herself convinced that I somewhere promised her that I would name my daughter Rosaria or Rosario after her grandmother (Um.... no nana I've never heard of such a thing) so to appease the 82 year old woman we added a Rose into her name... frankly she can call her whatever the heck she wants, We're just going to call her Layla anyway haha. So I guess that's all that's up with me
Re: Sorry I've been MIA!
You don't have to actually give your daughter the second middle name Rose -- just tell nana that you did!
When my dad was born, his parents named him William Donald. His mom (my grandma) took him to be baptised but the priest (Russian Orthodox) wouldn't do it if he didn't have a Christian name, so she said fine, his name is William Daniel. LOL! His name is still legally William Donald and he's gone by Don his whole life.
