S/O Prom did you have formal events in college?
We did. We had an annual "ball." I only went once because it was pretty lame. There were other semi-formal events, and mixers (I went to a women's college) that I went to.
Re: S/O Prom did you have formal events in college?
Were you in a sorority?
I was not. There were only 2 (at the time, there's a 3rd now) and they were looked at very stereotypically and I didn't want to be labeled. I also played sports so I didn't have the time to dedicate to another organization as well.
My DH is an engineer as well (mechanical). I'm a biologist. The engineers usually weren't the antisocial ones, it was more often then computer science majors. But when you have a school that's 3/4 guys, you are bound to have some odd balls.
There was a funny saying at the school regarding the ratio: The odds are good, but the goods are odd.
But he's always makings lists and spreadsheets. It's more just the thought process that is unique to engineers.
I'm glad he isn't a techie. But he loooves cars.
It's funny because that's totally me and not DH. I LOVE making lists. If I hadn't loved bio and genetics so much I probably would have been an engineer too. I'm always fixing sh!t around the lab and I'm really good at puzzles and how things fit together.
This post went totally off topic, haha!
