Shoe organization update

I finally got my shoe organization finished in my closet. .

I ended up buying 3 of these 10 pocket canvas shelves. My biggest hurdle was finding something that would fit only on the bottom half of the closet. Since I have a shelf and second bar on my side of the closet, the normal shoe shelves that were the long ones would not work. And I also wanted to make sure that what I got would be long enough to maximize the space I did have.

I stacked the 2 shelves I did have for shoes and put them on the side. I put my boots on top (since they wouldn't fit in the cubbies), then I moved DH's shoes on the rest of the shelves, since he didn't really have a designated shoe spot in the closet and we could keep them off the floor.

(Forgot to take a before picture - but just imagine shoes all over the floor and empty shelves!)

After: I also had just enough room at the very bottom to slide a 41 qt. underbed storage underneath, so I really feel like I utilized my space well.

I have been *fairly* good about putting them back, so far.  :-)

Thanks for all of the recommendations from everyone!

(here is my original post).
