Healthier Onion Rings

Here you go for those who asked!

Preheat oven to 425. Spray baking sheet w/ non stick spray.

Sliced yellow onion about 1/4-1/2" thick. Loosen the rings.

Gently whisk 2-3 egg whites in a shallow dish

In another shallow dish, whisk some flour and a bit of salt and pepper

In another shallow dish, mix some panko bread crumbs (you can use whole wheat bread crumbs or plain old ones) and a touch of salt and pepper

Dredge the rings in the flour mix. Then the egg white mixture. Then roll them in the breadcrumbs.

Lay on baking sheet far enough apart so they don't stick together.

Bake for about 20 minutes at 425 until golden brown.

For dipping, mix Ketchup & a few dashes of tabasco (depending on how much spice you like).

Hope you like them- I do!
