Asian Massage and Table Shower
Disclaimer: I honestly believe that I am prejudging this place.
Background: One of these just closed near my house and now a new one has reopened, on Harford Road (the last one was Belair Rd) at the bottom of my street.
If you look up this phrase, the internet definitely says that very few of these places are legitimate and most offer sexual acts.
So I emailed the Parkville Patch and had a reporter write me back to say he's willing to investigae it.

Haha. That was one of my first thoughts too. I thought, wow, that is cool that they're going to investigate it. Then I thought, Of course "he" would be willing to investigage.
Do we think that the Patch reporter is "up for the job"?
Oh, these places are all fronts for prostitution. We have one in our office complex. Its so gross and shady. They have cameras on the front door, all the windows are covered, and you have to ring a buzzer and go through two sets of doors to get in. It has been shut down by HoCo police like three times since I have worked here and then they just open back up under a new name two weeks later. You can spot the clients a mile away. They are all middle-aged to older guys who park way down in front of our office then walk down the sidewalk with their eyes on the ground trying to look inconspicuous. every once in a while you will be outside checking the mailbox or something and you'll see one come out the door and do the walk of shame to his car. I stare at them the whole time because it makes them really paranoid, lol.
ETA: on a serious note, I am pretty sure a lot of these places are involved in human trafficking, they lure the girls over here with the promise to live in America and then basically hold them hostage. we NEVER see the workers in this place. Only the owners, who drive really really expensive cars.

yes, I used to see more of them in MoCo, but they cracked down on them a few years ago.
On a side note though - table showers are awesome and it bothers me that they are being affiliated w/ this grossness.

There is one of these places on Rt 1 that I go by. I always wondered if there was something shady going on.
I've had a table shower in conjunction with body wraps and mud wraps. Those are really soothing & relaxing.
Well at "The Pearl" (hehe - that sounds pretty sleazy too!) you lay on a metal (steel?) table, draped w/ towels there a giant arm over the table that the massge therapist can adjust - and there are ~5 jets on it. I had one last year when I had a really fancy massage/body wrap combo thing. It was freaking AWESOME!!
I drove by and they were open at midnight!
the reporter seemed very eager!
That's what I was thinking!! I'm pretty sure there was an episode similar to this.
