I was wondering how you liked the margarita cupcakes that you made a few weeks ago. I volunteered to bring cupcakes to an event and thought that these may be perfect. Thanks!

They are stupidly tasty. I've made them twice now, and they definitely came out better the first time. The second time I overcooked them slightly, so the cake part was a bit dry.
Also, I think they store better at room temp. I put the second batch in the fridge after I'd iced them and the icing got rather hard. The first time I made them they stayed out in an air proof container and were very tasty.
The buttercream is just freaking amazing too. I could eat just that.
