Have you started thinking about halloween yet? What are all of you going as?
I am seriously considering the rainbow brite and twink costume on pinterest. Found some patterns that would work for me and Evie for it. Or may just have her go as a pink duck. Deciding today and ordering the patterns so I can get the fabric next week and start making the costumes.

SUPER TROOPERS!! Really. He needs a prop of maple syrup.
My Blog Picture A Day Blog
lol, the funny thing is that we were Buddy the Elf and Jovi last year so he carried around a prop of maple syrup. We'll have a tradition going!
I'm pretty sure we'll be skipping out on anything this year since I don't know if I'll still be pregnant, in the hospital, or home with a newborn (and trick-or-treating is rarely actually ON Halloween around here).
DH said that if MIL moves here, she can take her...I said absolutely not (not only does she not know the areas around here, she's not taking my daughter anywhere without me). I want to be with Taryn and she's only 2...she doesn't need to go trick-or-treating and she won't miss it. I don't want to waste money on a costume when we don't know what'll be going on at that time.
RIght now, we're leaning towards being the characters from Kickass. I would be HitGirl:
The baby would be Kickass:
And DH would be Red Mist:
But I feel like I need something cuter for the baby. A lot of the really cute baby cosumes are 6-12 months as the smallest though and I'm afraid that will be too big.
A nun! Your DH could be a priest. I'm Catholic - I'm allowed to joke.
DH and I rarely plan our costumes ahead of time, so they're usually lame. We're hoping to change that this year, but I have no real ideas.
BTW, something I'm really stupidly excited about: when DH and I have two kids, I want to go as wizard of oz characters. Hopefully a little girl could be Dorothy, another little one could be Lion (little kid lion costumes are ADORABLE!), I could be Tin Man (since I'm a lawyer...get it? No heart haha) and DH would be relegated to Scarecrow. Dorky? Yes. But cute.
I tried to get DH to go along with that last year but he wouldn't. I did get him to dress up for Taryn's first Halloween--we were Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinkerbell...and he said he'd never do it again because he "felt like a tool". I thought we looked cute and we got a ton of compliments (and women smacking their husbands saying "why wont YOU do that?") lol.
We have a few choices in the running...
1.) Wizard of Oz characters -- Natalie as Dorothy, me as either the Wicked Witch or Glenda the Good Witch, and DH as the Scarecrow.
2.) 80s Icons -- Me as Madonna, DH as Dee Snyder, and Natalie as a Jane Fonda workout chick with the leotard/ leg warmers and all that.
3.) Grease characters-- DH as Danny/ greaser guy, me as Frenchie, and Natalie as Sandra Dee with a poodle skirt.
I might have to do a poll on this.
Please do this!!!
I'm on call Halloween weekend so probably no costume for me. Blah.
I'm a fan of this option as well!
Unless someone has a party we aren't dressing up. So I'm not thinking about it til I hear of a party.
Casperdy: My MIL was once a pregnant angel. She held a sign that said "the devil made me do it." FIL was the devil. It was really cute.
My brand new niece who will be 2 months old on halloween is going to be hello kitty. My sister LOVES hello kitty. She found a real cute beanie that is hello kitty's face. She will wear a pair of cute white jammies that she has...since they aren't doing anything anyways.
I was going to be Rainbow Brite several years ago. I started making the costume but then ran out of time and never finished it. Now it definitely won't fit me anymore so I was planning on taking it apart and remaking it to fit my little girl sometime in the next couple years.
I doubt DH or I will dress up this year. For Kodi, I'm thinking about making him a postal carrier costume, but I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure what we are doing. I am contemplating a couple options..
1) Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2.
2) Rainbow Brite and then two sprites (just like Morrigan saw on pinterest)
3) Princesses
