Note to self

DO NOT attempt to try on your pre-pregnancy jeans "just for fun" when you are 35 weeks pregnant. Those 25 pounds you have gained are NOT all in the belly. I thought maybe i could rock them with the bella band. Lesson learned.

Re: Note to self

  • I hate to say it, but I just giggled. You look fantastic in your HDBD picture... Don't sweat it momma!

  • Ya that is definitely something you don't want to do. And I caution you not to do for a while after you deliver as well. You would be surprised at how your body changes.

You look great, so don't take it to heart!

  • I almost cried when I tried to put my on post-preg. I couldn't get them over my thighs and they were my 'big' jeans. They are just now starting to fit and look normal... D is 10 weeks today.

  • I feel like a huge b!tch posting this, but I wore my everyday jeans throughout my whole pregnancy (with the buttons undone and a bella band over top), and I was back in them with the buttons done up less than a week after Wyatt was born :D

That being said, by the end I didn't have a single shirt (including maternity) that fit right.

Lindsay, you look great! Don't let it get to you :)

  • Caitlyn - that is impressive!  I always gain my weight first in my butt and thighs, so I'm not surprised and I'm not really worried about it either.  Just made me laugh that I thought I would be able to get them on Smile

  • That is impressive! I've only tried the one pair on - I'm not even attempting the ones that were form fitting before.

  • It took me like 6--9 months to feel comfortable in my old jeans. Even now, I still think they are too tight. Kudos to you Caiitlyn!
