Dance Moms - Aug. 31
I'll admit it... I am kind of addicted to this show. I'm not entirely sure why, but I can't turn it off!
What did you all think of this week's episode?
I think Maddies is a phenominal dancer but it seems like she can be a brat. I wonder if she really got kicked in the swimming pool by Nia or if she just was crying because she didn't "win" the watermelon game.
I also think it was super awkward that Abby was trying to make Brooke have chemistry with that boy. She is 13 for crying out loud. The type of "chemistry" Abby wanted was more sexual than I find appropriate for a 13 year old.
I thought Nia did a really good job (for once!).

I can't stop watching this show either. I really dislike Cathy. She owns her own dance studio but it isn't good enough for her daughter? And it seems like her daughter totally doesn't want to dance or model.
I can't stand her either and I feel sorry for her daughter. She doesn't seem like she wants to dance.
My 11 year old daughter is heavily involved in dance, but she loves it and I would never push her to do it if she didn't want to. Fortunately, the dance moms I encounter at my daughter's school are nothing like the ones on the show.
Maddie is definitely a talented dancer and I can see her going far with it if she chooses to.
Ditto, can't stop watching either. And I highly dislike Cathy. I'd like to see her dance studio and her "Platinum" dancers. Her daughter looks miserable.
Nia did great! I liked this dance waaaaaaay better than LaQuifa. That was stupid.
I agree with the PP who said what chemistry is Brooke supposed to have with that boy. I thought it was a cute idea but executed so badly.
I agree Maddie is talented but a brat and can be a whiny baby. I was kinda taken aback by her statement that if she doesn't dance on broadway or for the rest of her life that she would die/kill herself(something to that effect). Seriously????? You're 9. No need for bloodshed at 9.
If these moms b!tch so much about how they can't stand how Abby runs things, how Abby favors Maddie,etc. Then leave!!!!
But if they left then there wouldn't be a show. So I hope they stay! lol ...
Maddie said "if I couldn't dance, I would kill myself." I was also taken aback by this! What an awful / dramatic thing for such a young girl to say!
I definitely think Maddie's a snot.
I also think the line "If I couldn't dance, I would kill myself" came from her mother.
