Good Morning!

Morning Nesties! What are your plans for today and for the weekend?

QOTD: What sports did you play as a child and do you still play them?

Re: Good Morning!

  • Hello again!

Today I need to clean the apartment, do laundry and I might go to the beach if the sun comes out.

This weekend DH and I are going on a mountain hike and to a cave.

QOTD: figure skating, I stopped training when I was 18, I still do it occasionally, but I really miss it :(

  • Good morning! hapE Friday to all :)

I have to clean the apt, prepare the veggie burgers and  rice pudding before we have guests over tonights. fingers crossed that it all goes off without a hitch! we also get to meet BIL's GF for the first time!

QOTD: hahhahahahahhahaha! Sports? lol I was not really sportive as a child. I did drill team one time and otherwise I occasionally donned a towel around my neck as a cape and ran about the neighborhood with my lil brother pretending to be superheroes

  • Good morning

Today we are shipping our car so have to take it to the registration office on the other Army post - then tonight we may go bowling (if hubs feels better)

QOTD: i dont do any sports i did as a child but i do now play softball every saturday for 4 hrs. (which is similar to rounders) i never heard of softball till i met Americans!

  • Good morning.  Happy Friday!  We don't have any plans this weekend, and just looking forward to relaxing after having my parents with us for the last few weeks.  depending on the weather, maybe we'll spend the day biking or something.

QOTD: I did gymnastics/power tumbling until I was 19.  I loved it and still do, but it just doesn't agree with an ageing body!  The few times I've tried going back, I've injured myself.  I also played table tennis competitively, if you call that a sport, and I don't really play that anymore either.

  • Morning! I arrived back in London yesterday and now have some cleaning and work to catch up on.  I also have a doctor's appointment today to check on the baby.  School starts again on Monday.  DH is away until Sunday night, so I'm trying to be productive so that we can spend lots of time together next week.

QOTD: I played softball, and did cheerleading and gymnastics when until high school.  I don't play any of them now. In high school I started playing field hockey and I still do now.

  • Hola!

We have some work that we want to do around the house this weekend. It is actually chilly here today. I am sad summer is over.

QOTD: I did ballet and jazz for over ten years but then I had to give it up because I didnt have the right type of body for it. I also played basketball, football, lacrosse, and field hockey. I dont do anything now. I am a bit lazy.

  • Morning everyone!  Happy friday.  We had lofty plans for a BBQ this weekend, or trying out all the toys we brought our dog back, but I may end up just writing a memo for work.  We will see what happens.

QOTD:  Volleyball, basketball, karate and a bit of track.  I don't do any of these anymore.  I mean, I go jogging and would like to play volleyball if I could find a team, and take kickboxing or body combat classes at a gym if it is offered, but I don't really keep up with them in any planned sort of way.

  • Happy Friday!  This weekend should be nice, my band is playing tonight which usually turns into a late night out.  No plans as of yet for Saturday and Sunday, so maybe I'll go to the market to get some souvenirs for family back home, relax a bit, and take some photos around town.

QOTD: Gymnastics and cheerleading, but my dance teacher made me quite gymnastics because she said it was bad for my posture.  I don't do either anymore.

    Now jumping domestically.

Well that was a crazy couple of years.

  • Morning! I'm hoping to enjoy the weather today. A friend is coming over, maybe go to the park with Georgia and then the usual - cooking dinner, cleaning up.

QOTD: I didn't really play sports. I was put into soccer when I was little and I was the one picking flowers on the side of the field, so my parents didn't really put me back into sports as I got older. I do remember doing gymnastics when I was 5-8ish. In High School, there was a summer track program, so T-F morning we'd get up and run from 7-8:30 in the am.

Now.... I'm afraid of balls! I don't really play anything. If invited, I would play soccer and football, but those are boys sports, so I hardly ever play.

  • Morning! I have birthday dinner and drinks for a friend tonight and am planning on having an extra sneaky coffee to stay awake, otherwise I'm asleep by 10 lately! Meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow and some shopping and then it's my wedding anniversary on sunday so we're going to do something... last weekend I practically hibernated so I'm curious to see if I can actually get out of bed every day this weekend!

QODT: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I would fake sick to get out of gym, that's how not sporty I was! I picked up jogging a couple years ago and have taken this long to get to where I can jog a couple (slow!) miles but it's all falling apart now that I'm feeling so sick.

  • I need to do some organizing today.  I've got some major cleaning to do this weekend and I need to do some shopping for our trip.

QOTD: I played softball for a long time.  I don't play anymore, but I wish I did.  I might find a team when we move back home.

adorable! :-)  Your dinner sounds delicious.  I'm sure it will turn out great.

  • Morning!  Today I'm just planning on doing some deep cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom and that's about it.  This weekend we are going to Burgos with the ILs to do some wine thing and celebrate MIL's birthday.

QOTD:  I did just about everything. Soccer for two years.  Gymnastics for one year. Softball one summer. Ballet for a year. Basketball for a year in middle school. Cheerleading (does that count?) for a year in middle school.

Yeah, I was terrible at sports and that's why each sport lasted so little time and I tried so many hoping one of them would be my thing.  Turns out I'm just not talented in the sports arena.

  • Morning, I have the day off today and am still exhausted.  I might nap this afternoon, right now I am going to read the nest and NYT, email my friend, clean, gym and then maybe nap.  I am trying to get everything back to normal for this weekend.

Tonight we are going to have a very quiet night.

QOTD: I danced: tap, jazz, ballet, and Irish, but it was for fun.  I was okay.  I wasn't that sporty....

  • Morning ladies!  Just finishing up some last minute details before we leave for our cruise tonight!  I'm so excited!

QOTD:  I played softball for the longest period...around 10 years.  I also ran track (sprinter) for 3 years, volleyball for 3 years, and basketball for a year.  Softball was my favorite, by far...but I really enjoyed my time on the track team as well.  The only thing I do now is run...but I'd join a softball team if I could find one.

  • Morning everyone! I was going to clean today but it looks like it's going to be sunny again so I'm going to head out and wander around. I might do some shopping, I'm on a hunt for a tan sweater.

QOTD: Cheerleading and volleyball. I don't do either anymore but will definitely pick up a volleyball game here and there.

  • I should really be working, but I'm completely burned out from this week. All I can think about is that my officemate is finally coming back on Monday, so hopefully my workload will lighten up.

QOTD: None. Isn't that sad? I guess I did gymnastics for a year, but I sucked. I'm still really flexible, if that counts.

  • Morning. I'm planning on doing nothing today. I woke up with a backache so bad that it hurts to even try to get off the couch. So not ideal.

QOTD: I started playing sports at around 4 years old. T-ball led into softball, then bowling for a few years, basketball and track in elementary school. Then soccer and powder puff football in middle school, and competitive weight lifting in high school. Since my wrist injury in high school (unrelated to weight lifting), I've stopped doing anything sporty.

  • It's afternoon here! I was up this morning though and went to Zumba! It was our first Friday morning class, and I'm hoping we get enough attendance for it to stick. Zumba 3 times a week is the best!

Now I'm home, showered, just ate some lunch and plan on relaxing today! No plans for the rest of the weekend either. We might watch a movie with friends tonight, and I will meet another friend for coffee tomorrow. Just trying to keep it low-key!

QOTD: I played softball and was pretty bad. I liked to hide in the outfield. I was way more into dance (ballet, jazz, pointe) etc, and did musicals and plays in HS.

  • Good Morning

I`m planning a trip to the doctors office.

I have a really bad throat ache, I can barely talk and my chest is hurting. I think I need some antibiotics. I hope I feel better soon, since I`m traveling to Europe next weekend.

QOTD: Nothing at all, I was never into sports at all. I was more of a book reader quiet girl :)
