Labor Day plans?

I just discovered it was Labor Day a few days ago and I forgot to make plans... and DH is in ATL until Monday (dear stalkers, I just made this up)... so I'm trying to figure out what projects I can do for my house by myself in 3 days.

What fun plans does everyone else have?

    LOL! I'm traveling to NY for work on Monday so we won't do much. I took tomorrow off to compensate so I'm going to do some shopping and get a mani/pedi. Saturday I'm going out to celebrate a friend's 30th. Nothing special planned for Sunday.

    I was supposed to go camping, but the camper is in the shop and has way more problems than we thought, so no camping. Instead, tomorrow I'm going Shopping in Destin, Saturday I have a baby shower, Sunday I have another baby shower and church. Monday I'm babysitting basically all day and probably overnight and Tuesday I'm still off and I have a hair appointment. 5 day weekend, what whaaat.

    My fun plans include not dying from this sinus/headcold that I've been sporting for about a week.

    If I successfully manage not to die, we might be going to my BFF's house on Sunday night for sushi making and games.

    Looking forward to the first weekend in a long time that we have barely any obligations.  Having dinner with some friends on Sunday night.  Other than that - nada!

    Seventh Anniversary

    I would like for us to tackle finishing the kitchen this weekend. We put up crown molding years ago and never filled in the nail holes or painted it. We also have cosmetic stuff on the ceiling that needs to be fixed and a big area that DH spackled on the wall that needs to be painted. Basically a lot of little stuff that's be undone forever. DH keeps making other plans for the weekend, so who knows how far we'll get.

    I'm taking my renters to get another look at the house Sat morning. And let us not forget football Saturday evening! Go Gators!

    The boys will be going out of town to see his parents. I will have the weekend to myself. Going out with some friends on Saturday night, heading to my mom's on Sunday, and probably doing a bunch of cleaning throughout the weekend.

    Me either! It should be interesting. I went to a small private school and some of us still keep in touch.

    We were supposed to be leaving for Orlando at 10:30am today, check into our hotel, go to Sea World and then Typhoon Lagoon all day tomorrow, but canceled/postponed due to a fever and sore throat DS came down with yesterday.  Orbitz was awesome and gave us a full refund, but now the little sick boy is running around, eating great and other than a little bit of a raspy voice, completely normal.  We may change our plans to Sunday/Monday instead...we'll see.
