Seriously. This summer went by much too quickly!
DH has four friends visiting from Ohio and we are heading to DE with them. We have a big family BBQ tomorrow, and I imagine we will also head to the beach and the outlets. I'm looking forward to seeing them, but after having visitors off and on for the last two weeks, I am really getting tired of entertaining people!

I am excited that it's September, because means fall is on the way! Fall is by far my favorite season--I can't wait for pumpkin patches and crisp days!
We are going to hit a couple of friends' pools this weekend and generally relax. We have a contractor coming next Tuesday and Wednesday to do some work on the house, so we have to hit Lowes to get some materials for him. Otherwise, we just kicking back!
i am so ready for fall too, i'll take crisp over sticky any day of the week!
tonight: i found a new cocktail recipe and (hopefully) we can have a few on the patio upstairs, then dinner at blue duck tavern.
the rest of the weekend we'll be sleeping in, lounging, maybe going to a museum or movie. we haven't had a plan-free weekend together since the beginning of july so we're kind of excited to be extra lazy for the next three days.
