BR: Rec your low-cost convertible car seat, please :)
We need a *cheap* convertible car seat for Evie to use in my parents' cars (Nissan Rogue and Altima). We're looking to spend $100 or less... since she'll only be riding around once in awhile and short car trips.
Baby Bargains rec's Cosco Scenara and Evenflo's... any insight?

I was hoping someone here would like it. The only thing I have a concern about is the cushioning... But she won't be in it for long periods of time or even that often.
I think I'm going to tell my mom to go to Wal-mart or Target and she can pick whichever one she wants. They sell the Cosco one at both stores.

that's good... heck, I may even get it for our car, too.
Does it sit upright more than the infant seat when it's rear facing? Evie is now trying to sit up in her seat because she likes to be upright/sitting. It's so funny listening to her grunt when tries to sit forward.

Nate does this too. He is also a giant and doesn't fit in a lot of the seats that say they can hold 7-9 month babies.....
