wooooo! srsly, every weekend between may and sept should be a 3 day weekend.
i spent most the day yesterday packing and prepping for camping today. yay! i love camping and we have some good food this time around! i do what i call "gourmet camping" and we always have good food out in the woods.

Morning!! I'm glad I'm not the only one working today!
I'm beyond ready for a 3 day weekend. H and I are going to dinner tonight, then wine tasting with friends, then we leave tomorrow for a couple nights of camping.
Jenn - we are "gourmet campers" too... it's ridiculous how much food we take with us, but the boys bring wood chips for the grill and get really excited about grilling when we camp. Steaks and chicken and ribs and... yeah. We eat really well when we are camping.

Hi! I think I am the only person in the office today. The parking lot was nearly empty when I got in and I have not seen a soul in the past hour.
I'm super duper excited for the long weekend! H leaves for Vegas tonight, so I have a whole weekend to myself. Yay!
Ugh, I have to work today (but not until 9!), but then we'll be hanging out with DH's family. Yay! We haven't seen them since our baby shower, and I miss them.
Had my 38 week appointment yesterday, and looks like I'm 50% effaced! Not dilated or anything, but baby is definitely preparing to make her appearance soon! Could be any time now - I told my doc I'd see her next week, and she just winked and said, "Or sooner!" Haha, I love her.

do you want to have her early sept, or late sept? h and i have always wanted a sept baby for our first, because we *knew* we'd have a boy (we're both confident we're having a boy), and we wanted him to be born mid-late sept, so he can start school "late". the school districts in my area have a cut off date of sept 6 or 7-ish. and i know it's also too early to ask or for you to know for sure...but if you have her early, would you sign a waiver to get her in early?

Morning! DH and I both crashed out on the couch before 9 and managed to make ourselves go upstairs to bed by 9:30. It was a lovely nights sleep until 3am when I was wide awake from too much sleep.
This weekend we don't have plans. We're trying to meet up with his sis and her family but it appears they overbooked again this weekend and we might not see them.
I am working today and tomorrow, but at least I still get two days off in a row.

Happy Friday! I'm off today and we leave for vacation Sunday; I can't wait.
Getting my hair cut later today. I need to get it colored too, but just a cut today.
I've completely got vacation on the brain, so anything that needs to be done probably won't.

Work is allowing me to get some overtime next week so that is exciting!!
I can't wait to get off of work today, 4pm can't come soon enough!
