I think I have a clogged milk duct in my boob. It hurts.
What do I do to get it unclogged? Nurse like crazy on that side?
Re: Clogged milk duct
Nurse/pump while massaging or holding a warm compress on it. Massage the spot directly. It's gonna hurt but you'll know when it's gone....instant relief. It might be easier to do it while pumping if you have a hands free bra. That way you can massage with both hands or massage with one while holding a warm compress with the other.
I had about 5 or 6 while pumping. Only once did it take more than one pumping session for it to go away.
love is for every her, love is for every him, love is for everyone
I had issues with this ALL the time. Like K said massage and heat works the best. I agree that pumping would probably be easier getting it worked out.
Avoid underwire bras this makes them worse.
~~~CRINGE~~~
Good advice so far, just be diligent. I had mastitis twice and ugh. Don't let it get to that.
