***pook***RE:smocked dresses
I was at Kid to Kid in the Galleria this afternoon and they had a lot of smocked clothing, in all sizes, both boys and girls! They had an orange dress with pumpkins behind the counter, I asked the owner and she said it was a size 2...maybe for next year.
Re: ***pook***RE:smocked dresses
Thanks!!! I'm going to sneak over there tomorrow! I hate paying full price for something she will most likely wear for a couple of photos.
I have been finding good deals online, when I went to a Shrimp & Grits party last weekend....I had to pay $59 for a smocked dress. UGH.
(I say "had to pay" because one of my BFFs was hosting the party and I wouldn't have gone without the intent to buy something. $59 was the cheapest I could get out of there!)
So Tasty, So Yummy
I do get theirs.
Update for anyone who cares: They have several, in a smocked section by the front. They didn't have anything in G's size that I liked and quite a few of them were more worn than I will purchase (even for used, the ones I buy look brand spankin' new). They were all around $25.
The boy's section had much cuter smocking, IMO. The girl's may have just been picked over though.
The owner of K2K is super friendly though, and lives in the Heights, so when I'm in the area, I will stop in. Thread is so close to me and is usually a few bucks cheaper ($19-20) (and one of my good friends owns it).
