Anniversary Photos
Hi Ladys,
So my DH and I never did engagement photos. Since we arent in love with our wedding photos (I look tense in many of the pictures and there were many shots the photographer missed), we are floating the idea of doing a first anniversary photoshoot. What do you girls think of that idea, it seems a little vain to me, but I really wish we had some nice, professional, not tense looking shots together.

I dont have any firm ideas yet. I researched some photographers last night, and I contacted one who likes to do outdoor, nature photographs. I think if we decide to go ahead an do it, I will probably ask her from some suggestions on where to have it.

It's not vain! It's normal to want nice pictures of yourself and loved ones. Some of my friends do that regularly and I think if you can afford to and want to, why not?
Outdoor shots are always nice, plus you might be more relaxed in a setting like a park.
I think it's a great idea! I thought about it too for a little big, but we have a lot of great pictures between our engagement photos and wedding pictures, that it doesn't make sense for us now.
I say go for it!
I'd probably do this for greeting cards and stuff, too. So I don't think it's vain.
I won't be doing anniversary photos this year, but I will be doing maternity photos right around our 1 year anniversary.
